WBA World Title

Can someone please confirm something for me - the WBA world title that Quigg holds and that Crolla fought for, are they considered "proper" world titles?
By proper I mean are they THE man that the WBA, and IHoF recognises?
My understanding is Quigg and Crolla fought for "regular" WBA world titles and there is a super champion that is considered THE man?!
Sky banging the drum about it last nightlife me wonder if I have it wrong?
Is it any better than an intercontinental title with the other sanctioning bodies?

The one Crolla fought for was. Only because Abril never fought he got stripped and Perez upgraded to full champion status.
Scott Quiggs belt is secondary to Guillermo Rigondeauxs. Rigo is the WBAs main champion at that weight.

The confusion comes from the fact they were both 'regular' titles. But in Quigg's division there is a super champion. When there is only a regular holder the regular champ should be considered the WBA champ. When there is a super champ then he shouldn't.

I was out last night after the boxing and I am sure I won the WBA rainbow title in the taxi rank!

Sure that Corolla fought for the regular as abril hasn't been stripped he's champion in recess?

And no quigg is not full champ Frampton couldn't have an IBF WBA unification as the IBF doesn't recognise the WBA regular title

No the wbo refused the unification, McDonnell and Kameda fought for the wba regular and nothing else.

Not sure if the rules have changed since then but Carl Frampton said they won't sanction it and Dan rafael said the same

Who was the WBA's first Regular champ?
The first I remember really hearing of it was when Povetkin held it after Wlad unified against Haye,they upgraded Klitschko to Super champ

Kostya Tszyu was the first WBA Super champ (for unifying vs Mitchell). So I guess technically the first regular champ was Dysobelis Hurtado (might not have been actually called "Regular" then tho).
