been there from day one but it's getting worse
tonight's card is the worst most uncompetitive I've ever seen

I expect the Andy Lee v Saunders card to be very good like the Saunders v Eubank one was. Surely Butler v Conlan is going to be added to that one.

Granted tonights show is a load of sh1te tho. And having Buglioni getting pancaked instead of knocking out a guy who was at welterweight last year wouldn't have changed that.

In terms of international content tho I can't see how too many can complain.

I think it's a brilliant channel. Lots of shows and not just fights either. Also always loads of old classics on there that you've missed. Plus documentaries too like that Jimmy Lennon Jr. or Joe Bugner/ Frazier one recently. I love it.

What about the international shows? That doesn't make the channel worth it to you?

I'm going to the Lee fight and it can't stay up late enough for the international fights

At least you still get Fish, Chips And Scraps.

There's been a decline in the quantity and quality of the domestic shows over the past year or two but the thing is, it's really good value. If I was having to fork out for it like I do for sky I'd be more disgruntled. I knock the channel from time to time but twelve quid a month for what we get is cracking value.

you're having a laugh arent you? international coverage is excellent, in fact its so good its in danger of destroying my marriage.

tonights card was a bit poor, but on the same level as all that wbf/wbu bilge that sky used to show a few years back and much cheaper.

I've said it for ages. Why not have a link show to the big international shows? If Kovalev is fighting, have a British LHW headline a show. If Amir is fighting in the states have haroon headline a small show over here etc.
And on the weeks with no international content have bigger british cards.

Also strramline the cards. 4 fight main card. 4 undercard fights and a couple of swing bouts. FWs cards are packed with no progression to them. Ovill McKenizie should not be opening a card...

Nice idea, but I think they seal the deal for a lot of international shows quite late on, so probably wouldn't be practical on most occasions. Would certainly like to see it wherever possible though.

had it since it started but defo not as many British small hall shows as there was which I think is a shame.

It isn't possible on most occasions or worth it. Shows are planned months in advance, well before they're actually announced to the public, most promoters will already have the rest of this year mapped out. To then try and fit the shows around other shows that they don't necessarily know about is nigh on impossible. Taking Kovalev as an example, when he fights depends on what dates HBO have available, then they have to fit a venue around those dates. To put a show on before it means that first of all allegedly need to pick up the show and they don't like to get them early because they have to pay more, then Fwank needs to find a venue that's available on the same day and is suitable for the show he's going to put on and put it all together at relatively short notice. The other problem is that it just isn't worth it, Sky have done it on occasion to boost PPV sales, but it isn't worth the trouble for allegedly to go to all that effort when there's absolutely no benefit to it.

Not sure where you're going with this one, they have a main event and undercard, same as just about every other show, there's usually a couple of floats to fill gaps for TV and the early part of the undercard goes untelevised. Where should Ovill be then? If he's going to be any further up the card then he has to go in as the away fighter because he isn't a big name and doesn't really sell tickets, or the other option is that he doesn't get on TV at all.

It was probably the worst they've put on.

The card in question was dire.

I will always defend allegedly though, it is worth every penny in my view. I watch hours of live boxing on there, £12 is peanuts really.

The Kovalev card was worth that alone, great nights action

I dont think that was the worst card on there. Cant remember which one, but there was a real dogshit show a couple of months ago. Regarding price the international stuff for £12 a month is amazing value.

It wasn't an unjoyable card to watch and the Corcoran v Goddings British title eliminator was a cracking fight.

I like it for international content.

Not watch boxing on Sky then, Birmingham, Newcastle, Leeds shows earlier this year all less competitive

Lets not forget the Mitchell Smith fight on paper looked a decent fight (the opponent was good enough to headline a Matchroom show) and you had Corcoran/Godding. Thats way more than the shows I mention had to offer.
