Ain't no one f#cking with Kovalev, not Adonis Stevenson,Andrzej Fonfara, are Andre Ward.Kovalev would beat any guy in both them weight divisions,I also wouldn't mind seeing a catch weight fight with Triple G,that would be a mega fight.I here he don't blacks, well thats too bad cuz he has black fans.

He didn't. His management is trying to play a money game.

I would give Beterbiev good chances to beat Kovalev just because Arthur's chin is better, and Kovalev is letting his opponents to land some good punches.

Its hard to believe that Artur Beterbiev would beat Kovalev, this guy Beterbiev only has 9 professional fights & just a high knockout percentage. He might we will see.

Why did Stevenson head off to Showtime when they were on HBO and had fought on the same card to build a fight between them?
I guess neither could beat the other then.

I AGREE COMPLETELY. Sergey is an absolute beast and turning into one of those rare talents we're lucky to have the opportunity to watch. I've never seen a boxer improve with every single fight like he has. When I first watched him, he looked raw and just threw bombs. Now he's setting traps, his jab is amazing and his foot work is remarkable. Those factors along with his power are not his best asset in my opinion. His best asset is how mean he is. I've never seen a more relentless boxer in the ring. I don't think i've ever seen a boxer rooting for the other guy to beat the count after knocking him to the canvas like he did in that last fight.
With that said, I do think that he has a higher propensity to get knocked out than GGG does. GGG's shrugged off every punch ever landed. Kovalev's been knocked down a couple of times and seems to get cut very easily. I hope it never happens but I can just see Kovalev taking a kill shot in one of these fights.

I think him and Ward could be one hell of a fight. Ward would be up against it, but I wouldn't count Andre out.

If this is the case why not move up to cruserweight just like Ward should move to 175 or GGG should move to 168 or Floyd to 54.

Cruiserweight is a 25 lb leap to be fair, that's a big ask.
I agree with the thrust of your post however.

Beibut Shumenov didnt why not Kovalev. If your clearly the best at a division up. The same arguement can be made it was to steep for Cunningham, Huck, Adamek, RJJ to move up to heavyweight and face someone even more than 25 lbs bigger.

RJJ moving up to heavyweight, was an exceptional event, few other fights in history would have pulled that off.
The point I am making is that a move from 168-175 is a lot easier than a move from 175 to 200.
Can you understand that?

Meh. It's overrated. Sit down and properly analyze the heavyweight and cruiserweight divisions in the last 20 years and you'll see a bunch of guys who were basically light heavyweights (or even smaller) who found success: Toney, Adamek, Byrd, Moorer, Tarver, Bellew, Danny Green, Shumenov, Erdei, etc. Most light heavyweights don't bother with cruiser because there's no money there outside of Europe. Has nothing to do with the difficulty involved with fighting the likes of BJ Flores.

BJ Flores was a cherry pick by Shumenov and even then Beibut had to run for 12 rounds barely landing anything himself. Top 12-13 cruiserweights from boxrec rankings would EASILY beat Shumenov.

Tony Bellew is the #9 cruiserweight. Ovill McKenzie is #6. Both guys were passable but nowhere near elite light heavyweights. I don't think either EASILY beat Shumenov.

Those names you picked out, are over a stretch of about 25 years. Those are exceptions that prove the rule, nothing more. There's a few guys who moved from LH to Cruiser, and some of those did it back when the limit was 190. Not many have done it with any success since.

I missed McKenzie, and I have never seen him, so I can't judge. Even a mediocre CW Bellew will smash Shumenov.

Tomasz Adamek was the absolute top guy at the division and he was a former light heavyweight with a loss to Chad Dawson.

Tony Bellew isn't smashing anyone, particularly someone who moves around as much as Shumenov. I don't even like Shumenov. If Al Cole came back I think he might beat him - that's how little I think of the guy. But this "Nobody moves up to cruiserweight because it is tough" is nonsense. No one moves up because there's no money to be made fighting Youri Kalenga in Sun City or whatever and there's a lot of money to be made fighting on HBO or Showtime against Hopkins, Stevenson, Ward, Kovalev, Pascal, and Bute.

Adamek was unbelievably durable though, can't think of another light heavyweight since Holyfield/Qawi with the ability to take a punch like that.

Adamek also rarely actually weighed in under 175 during his career, he was clearly a big LH, and seemed pretty durable above well above 200, - only Vitali ever stopped him.

There's a lot of really tough guys who passed through cruiserweight recently; Mormeck, Lebedev, Nelson...all guys who could really take a shot and there's little doubt about. Even some of the others like O'Neil Bell are a bit underrated in that department.
