Honestly....this is the most competitive I have ever seen this division. How would have RJJ done in this era seriously?????
Stevenson= Monster
Kovalev= Sadist
Pascal= Braveheart
Beterbiev= Silent Assasin
Gonzalez= 175lb Antonio Margarito
Roy doesn't matter his prime would have had a difficult time today!

Personally I think RJJ was a level above these guys.
The Kovalev-Stevenson fight needs to happen for the winner to go to the next level.

He did seem to operate on a level different to everyone in his era in his prime - phenomenal.
It's easy to forget just how sumblime he was to watch

Virgil Hill was a masterful boxer himself, and Jones just played with him. Incredible.

Jones beats them all. Virgil Hill, Clinton Woods, Montell Griffin, and Mike Mcallum wasn't exactly pushovers.

I'd say RJJ would easily beat all of the above aside from Kovalev. I think that we are witnessing something pretty special with this guy. What's scary is that he's improving every time out so I don't even think he's hit his prime yet. But at this point in his career, I'd have to say RJJ would beat Kovalev right now.
It was strange how fast RJJ fell though. He skills didn't gradually erode, they fell off the map. He was something to watch his prime though with those windmill punch knockouts. He had the most stylistic knockouts I've ever seen.

I don't think he ever coped with the move back down the weights after Ruiz as well as he did going up them.
