Roy has three fights scheduled within less than a month, between 8/15 and 9/12. What exactly is he trying to achieve by fighting bums every two weeks ???

In case you don't know he has high-end escorts lined up at his disposal at each venue. In Phillipsburg and his trip to the UK. He gets a payday, appearances fees, part of the gate, and the hookers. No joke. These are his perks for undertaking in these sparring sessions and making the promoters some good coin on his name. From what I understand for his 3 fights in Russia and Latvia in the last year and a half he had 3 escorts assigned to his room in each location.

In Russia and Latvia those hookers are very much gonna be worth the tour :TU:

Roy going on a bum fighting tour is the kind of fun stuff boxing needs. I wish I was in St. Maarten to see that. Would be a blast to go snorkel or sit on the beach then come back and watch Roy tear up some goon and look like he's 26 again.

Exactly ^

Leave the man alone, if he wants to fight, and people want to fight him, who the hell are we to say otherwise. It's the entertainment industry, and there'll be loads of people paying to see it.

If people don't like it, why don't they just keep quiet and ignore it?

i dont mind him fighting lower level fighters and defending a WBU belt, its when he wants to fight Huck or someone along those lines that i dont want to see it, only because he will more than likely get hurt.

Couldn't agree more. I don't mind RJJ fighting lesser fighters and winning.
I don't want to see him lose to poor fighters.
Also the Huck fight scares me. Roy's punch resistance has gone and Huck can definetly punch.

thats the thing seeing him lose to fighters he would have easily beaten in his prime is sad and i feel Huck would really hurt current RJJ.

but if hes not ready to retire yet and hes happy fighting lower level fighter then fair play to him.
