Adrien Broner vs Ruslan Provodnikov possible for November

The fight is still in planning stages & also is in discussion for a deal at showtime.I personally don't think Broner would win this fight because his last fight with Porter,he didn't do anything but grab & hold an he didn't throw any punches. He will need throw a lot punches in order to win,he's not going to be able to move enough to get the decision, because Provodnikov is very good at cutting off the the ring against his opponents. Provo "great" at cutiing off the ring? bit of a overstatement I must say so myself. I think Provo would win because Broner wouldn't do enough to win, but it wouldn't because Broner couldn't stay away from him.

Unless he edited his post, he said Provo was very good, not great, at cutting off the ring.

This would be a good fight. Broner is no where near busy enough in the ring to beat Provo in my opinion, despite the fact he has a better skill set.

Provodnikov is all wrong, style wise, for Broner.

Provodnikov outworks him and I reckon hurts Broner

Unfortunately, public will not be able to see Broner beaten by Provo. There is no truth in these rumors:

This is the thing about Broner. He flashes a great skillset at times, but he consistently gets hit with shots he should not get hit with. He has the speed and power. And against the right opponent, his inside fighting looks stellar. But like you said, Broner is not busy enough. And he can't handle effective aggression well. I think Provo is a nightmare for Broner. An aggressive power puncher, with a great right hand, and an iron chin. I see Broner getting KOed.

Biggest thing with Broner that makes him beatable by most guys is his innability to effectively counter punch.. he uses a defensive style that h should be rolling with the punches and coming back with something of his own, but instead he keeps trying to roll with shots and that when he's getting hit. A guy with the speed an skill set of Broner he should be a good counter puncher but doesn't seem to know when to pull the trigger. if Broner could lern how to effectively counter punch he's not going to lose to guys like provo and porter.

He's not even "very good" at cutting at off the ring.. Mattysse made that pretty obvious in their match-up.. If you want to use the Bradley fight as a example, Bradley fought fire with fire and didn't use the movement he's capable of. Provo couldn't effectively cut of the ring against Algieri a lot of time either, so "NO" Provo isn't "very good" at cutting off the ring lol. Now Golovkin, Cotto and Kovalev are very good at cutting off the ring, maybe great.. Provo belongs no where near that discussion.

Provo is a flat footed fighter who comes forward with a lot of pressure.. He punches with his opponents, but he doesn't cut off the ring that well.

The losses Broner has suffered seem to have given him the desire to get iin with very good fighters if he were still undefeated he'd be more shy, trying to protect the '0'.

Broner will destroy Provodnikov. This fight is an awful one to make. Ruslan doesn't have the speed to keep up with elite boxers. I see him chasing Broner all night and just getting picked apart. I hate this fight. I'm a Provodnikov fan and don't want to see him get banged up like that.

He fought De Leon and Maidana when he was still undefeated, so I don't think it's fair to say that he would have avoided good opponents if he was still undefeated.

I'd pick Broner to win this by a wide margin.

He would hit and move all night.I really think Ruslan is deterstiong fight on fight. Zero head movement and walking in straight lines. The wars are catching up with him.

:TU: he's like a very strong weightlifter who just march's forward, its not boxing.

I didn't say he was. I think he's pretty average at cutting off the ring.

Provodnikov would beat the sh#t out of Adrien Broner, that wouldn't even be a challenge.Broner has nothing to prove even taking this fight we all know he would get knockout.Provodnikov has a very strong chin even Matthysse couldn't stop him & also has much punching power himself.Provodnikov would stop Broner an can also hurt him too.

Ruslan has taken more hammer than the average world level boxer, though he is very brave and highly resilient I feel he could start to come apart at the seams soon.

Chris Algeri didn't beat Provodnikov in my book,Provodnikov drop Algeri plenty times in that fight,i don't know what the judges where looking at.If Algeri did win it was by a slight lead.

I don't belive another beatdown for Broner would help his career.Im surprise Broner would even take this fight, this point in his career. Its too much of a risky fight for him,if he losses two fights straight, that would really drop him in the rankings an also put a end too his career and also hurt his chances about ever getting a title shot.I wouldn't be surprise if he does the same thang he done in the Porter fight.running, holding, humping an not throwing any punches. It's sad but true that Adrien Broner will never be a elite fighter and probably won't ever beat any top welterweight are any top junior welterweight in these divisions. He will never shine fighting against elite competition and will never.
