Someone mentioned this the other night and I didn't believe it. Is it a coincidence that Audley also announced he would be out till September after the Bonin fight!

I bet they don't put Skelton in with anyone too risky, if there is a slim chance of a Harrison fight later in the year.

I'm not shocked if Skelton fights on the 30th as he seems a fighter that like to keep busy.

I hope its a British title defence, I want him to get the Lonsdale ASAP and reliquish it to move on. I have been impressed with how his career has been handle - hope it continues.

I would like to see Krence or Long in the opposite corner next time.

Is it? Not sure I can understand that one. I don't believe a mandatory is near so why doesn't Skelton make a defence of his British title even against a non-risk but sanctionable opponent, there are plenty of those about.

I'm sure the BBBoC would sanction Ellis, Simpkin, Llewellyn - all wouldn't stand a chance.

Maybe Skelton is looking for a fight against Tyson.

He'll be facing an American opponent according to the BBC.

Ross Puritty. Mmmm. Not sure, I know Ross has ALWAYS been a journeyman (whatever that actually means) but even with that special breed of fighter he's a little long in the tooth now isn't he.

The Wladimir fight is a long, long time ago but I know the brevity of the fight will be sold on that one upset.

Someone like CHarles SHufford would have been better, similarly low risk but far more credible and plenty of soundbytes to sell him on - including a win over Brewster and a performance as FOREMAN in the film ALI.

Indeed if I was managing Harrison or SKelton or Hide or WIlliams he would have been my number one target. Depending on his demands obviously.
