Why exactly is Maidana 2 a no contest?

No draw for the DLH fight? What about a DQ for the Ortiz stoppage?

Floyd really only has something like 20 wins doesn't he?

He's actually 0-48, isn't he?

These threads are stupid

You can debate decisions all day, but fighters have the ability to take every contest out of the judges hands( ok maybe Paulie doesn't have the power/ability). If you let a fight go the distance you have to live with the outcome

The narrowest Floyd I've seen was Maidana 1, that I had a draw and honestly I still can't comprehend how anyone could give Floyd more than 6 rounds in that fight

I had him winning both Castillo fights 115-113

I thought the Dlh and Canelo fights weren't that close and he beat pac easier than all the fights previously mentioned

Watched DLH vs Floyd as a one eyed Oscar fan and not even with all my wishful thinking did I see that as anything other than a loss for him.

I thought he clearly deserved an L in the first Castillo fight and a W in all his other fights I've seen. Maidana was competitive the first time around but I don't see how that was anything other than a Floyd win (I had it 7-4-1).

And this is the most logical post of the bunch.

Floyd lost to Castillo 1.

I had him close win in Castillo 2 but debatable.

Floyd should have been DQd vs Zab.

Ortiz should have been a NC imo.

Lost close to Maidana 1 & Pacquiao, won close vs Cotto but not robberies like Castillo 1 so wouldn't insist on counting them as losses like I do Castillo and Zab.

Ridiculous claims here. I haven't agreed with all of the scorecards totals but I can't think of a fight in which Floyd clearly lost. I think that the closest he came to a loss was in Maidana I and DLH but both those guys faded badly in those fights losing the lead that they had built in the early rounds. You have to give FMJ credit for gutting those out which he clearly did. I hate him.

Floyd lost the first Castillo fight no question. Other than that he's won every fight.

I thought this place was picking up after the May-Pac fight and years of build up but it seems the Berto announcement has brought the idiots from out the woodwork again

boxing from the inside is just a part from boxing, just as boxing from the outside.

bayless never let inside boxing happen, the biggest weapon from maidana. it is illegal to not let someone box how he wants to box, if it is legal how he boxes.

for me it would be the same, had bayless not let floyd box from the outside, it would also be a nc.

like i said, inside and outside boxing are part of boxing. but letting crab and hold excessivly like 80 times in the fight, that was okay for kenny?

no contest

Why pretend to be Floyd impartial and non biased by only giving him 1 loss, 2 draws and a NC?
Since your personal record book is the one you go by and are probably proud of (which is true for most of us- I have my own record book), why not give him a few more losses in direct relation to how much you dislike him?
You know you want to give him some more losses than you did...But that would only further to diminish your already questionable bias.
You could possibly give him DQ losses for Ortiz and Zab, right? Do that!
What are you doing man?? It's your story, so don't half ass it- tell it with gusto!
Floyd sucks and has lost a bunch of times!!

I think the closest fight Floyd ever had was with DLH...and he pulled that one out late.

Only one judge saw it as 8-4 Floyd. The others had it a round away from a draw, with one calling it for Oscar.

By contrast not one judge in 2 fights scored the fight for Castillo.

The problem with the first Castillo fight, I think, is that folks forget you score each round individually. There were rounds Jose did very, very well. Others where he was neutralized.

If he outlanded Floyd 60 to 30 one round and won it, then got outlanded 15 to 10 the next round, it is still 1 round apiece even tho Castillo has a 35 punch advantage over 2 rounds.
