Good to see this one made, one of the best fights of the year and well deserved win for McDonnell. It'll be on the same card as a bout between Anthony Dirrell and Marco Antonio Rubio

Great news. Hope McDonnell can repeat the feat. Be another tough battle though.

Another tough ask for McDonnell and i think it will go to the wire again,Jamie's proving time and time again then to never write him off,his will to win, determination is first class and his engine is 1 of the best in the world i was reading in this months BM that in the Kameda fight for the first 6 rounds he averaged 55 punches per round then for the last 6 rounds he upped it 90% including 124 shots in the last round which is phenomenal especially against a buzzsaw like Kameda who's busy himself making you move, parry and evade shots

I take my hat off to Jamie, yes he is probably getting a fair pay day, but he does not need Kameda again - so well done for to taking this one.

I was critical to Jamie way back when for not giving Napa his rematch - so well done on this one.

Hope he's getting a good payday as can't see him getting a close decision again.

don't see why he wouldn't if he gets the right judges.

He's a bloody slow starter though is Jamie,he doesnt want to be leaving it that close again if he can help it,i scored it the same as the 3 judges last time 114-113 i think it was but it could have easily gone to the "home" fighter That KD McDonnell suffered wouldve knocked some Bantams clean im sure but he just got up,dusted himself down and actually got better

If McDonnell starts quicker this time he should get the win again.

Does make for a boxing filled weekend though, the Warrington / Brunker show is the night before and I'm at a show in Walsall on the Friday.....happy days :TU:

Was a good fight first time around.
Bit gutted he's given him a rematch to be honest.
It will be tough for him to repeat the feat and a Haskins rematch was one I really wanted to happen with a pair of belts on the line.

Think it was a contractual obligation, Haskins is supposed to fight Caballero...so the winners facing off Q1 2016 would be good

It's a miracle to get a decision in Texas once, let alone twice.

I hope Jamie can drop him once or twice.

Hope he is getting very well rewarded. $500k+

Really looking forward to it too. Although I'm not looking forward to having to listen to that small section of the crowd shouting 'TOOOO MOOOO KEHHH!' Over and over.

Jamie won't be dropping any fighter at that level unfortunately.

I still think he can win, world class engine with good fundamentals, Kameda looked a little lazy to me and im sure he isn't salivating at the thought of another gritty 12 rounds.

another close and contentious decision either way i think.

Yeah know what you mean but at least theres a decent matched 10 rounder topping it. Personally prefer that than a show with plenty of fights but them all being 4/6 round foregon conclusions. That show at the Town Hall isn't looking the best in my view. Steven Pearce in a tune up fight being the main fight doesn't bode well for the rest of the card.

Hope Mcdonnell proves me wrong got a feeling Kameda will squeak this one.
I thought he under performed last time.
