3 or 4 good wins over good names the way sam has will set him up perfectly for a title shot.

This is Johns letter that he issued today (NOT OURS). We are working on an eliminator for British against Dale Evans which has been ordered by the board. Lee Markham is no longer with us. He is managed now by the Warren organisation.

I love the way he tells Eggington to "man up" and fight. Sam being a 21 year old who hasn't had an easy, protected-prospect-type route to a title and who has already fought and beaten two unbeaten fighters in 2015.

I thought O'Donnell was on the MBC circuit now

Straight away sam rang me saying make the fight ,I told him if we respond to every begging letter by giving an undeserved title fight you going to have every boxer in the top 50 in the commonwealth bombarding facebook and boxing scene with the same kind of thing.

When John strings together a few wins im sure we can accomadate him and like the last few guys who have pointed out sams weak points and how easy he is to beat he might get a shock as well

Sam manned up going in prizefighter at 19 with only three fights.

Eggington, along with Nick Blackwell are 2 of my favourite domestic fighters. Tough lads who have had it hard early in their pro careers but have persevered and come good.

Looking forward to seeing both go as far as they can.

If O'Donnell beats Evans it would be a good marking time fight for Eggington, otherwise I wouldn't really be interested.

Can't really argue with that to be fair.

Although think people being a bit unfair knocking John and the Goodwin's, hes only trying to use a bit of publicity to get a big fight not going to knock him for that! Unlike some fighters he can't walk into undeserving big fights because he has a tv promoter behind him. And you can't knock the Goodwin's for putting this out there they're backing they're man nothing wrong with that in fact its what you'd expect them to do.

I think its the fact of telling someone with sams attitude and record of taking tough fights to man up and fight that people find a bit silly.
Iv always found fighting and beating good kids is a much better way of getting a big fight than an open letter on facebook.

Agree re: Sam's attitude, doesn't surprise me Sam's reaction was 'make the fight'. I just think there's a lot of people on here who don't box happy to take the mick when in reality all John is trying to do is talk himself into a big fight. Personally don't think you can knock him for that yes he doesn't deserve it (and I agree the best way would be to get some decent wins) but sadly plenty of people get better opurtunities than they deserve in boxing due to other factors (such as kicking up a fuss like Johns trying to or selling loads of tickets). I just think John's trying to play the game he's not the first and won't be the last.

3) Our job is also to arrange for John to do interviews with the press. He has two coming up this week (our job)
4) We have never told John to chase Sam neither have we ever suggested to him that Sam should be his next fight
5) We approached the board of control and asked them to sanction a bout with Dale Evans (we have never asked for the Sam fight)

So the above shows Sherlock Holmes has got his case wrong. So inference to us to totally incorrect. All we are doing is the role John employs us to do.

Dont disagree. Thats why I asked for the Dale Evans fight to be made. A proper test. John would obviously fight Sam if the fight came up though. Our job is merely to highlight what our boxers want to. We certainly do not encourage our boxers to portray themselves in any certain way good or bad.
