Toney 231 pounds w/ clothes on.. other dude was 242, bigger in better shape and has only lost to undefeated.

What's the odds on this? May be worth putting money against Toney. He hasn't done shit lately. This has ugly written all over it.

Toney is in for a tough fight I seen guy fight in amateurs and he has some skill not 100% but believe Charles won nationals, he has been very inactive as I believe he might have had to do some time again not 100% on it so correct me if I am wrong just what I have heard because he is from close by me

Charles is wasted talent......he did win the nationals. Not sure what caused all the layoffs.

The Michelin Man will be there trying to get his tires back from around Toney's waist and CapN Crunch and the Donut Crew will be there to replenish James after the fight is over.

Toney's debut as a pro was 1988. That's pretty crazy. Gotta respect the man, opinions aside. Can't knock a mans grind

I don't think any more shots to the head will affect Toney's speech any more than it already has. I'm guessing he would retire and be a trainer, but no one can understand him when he speaks, so I guess he has to fight. :(

This fat f0cker needs to quit, when you start getting beat by less than a journeyman it is time to hang em up.

Looked bad......ate punches all night, throws punches in slow motion, no balance. Made Ellis look like Ali in there.

8-2 imo for Ellis.

Still a good night of fights, saw Chris Byrd. He looked like he could fight tomorrow. Lamon Brewster looked like he weighed 300 plus.

Toney was my absolute favorite fighter for about a decade back in the day.
Hell, I still clearly remember seeing him fight for the first time on an old TOP RANK BOXING prelim & how impressed I was by him.
And, I'll never forget how thrilled I was when he was so competitive with Michael Nunn during what I had so incorrectly assumed to be a year or so too early for him title fight in 1991 & how ecstatic I was when he landed that fight finishing left hook in the 11th round.
I spent the vast majority of Toney's career celebrating every victory & being gutted by every loss.
That's why it's been so difficult for me watching the late stages of his career.
Hopefully after last night's loss he'll get the message that it's time to call it a day, but of course we all know that he'll keep on plugging away until they drag him out of the ring kicking & screaming.
