Just noticed that Spike TV in the UK are showing Antonio Tarver Vs. Steve Cunningham and Marco Huck Vs. Krzysztof Glowacki next Saturday night from 10:00pm. Not live unfortunately, about a 19 hour tape delay.
Still its on terrestrial TV which can only be a good thing.

Yeah, wrong terminology. Always refer to council TV as terrestrial when I actually mean Freeview
@handsofstone The Virgin Media situation is a shocker. You'd think when a channel launches on Freeview it would be on all pay TV platforms from the start.
How to get Spike:
Freeview channel 31
SKY channel 160
TalkTalk 31
Freesat 141
BT TV 31
You can also watch the show the following day here:
http://www.channel5.com/demand5
And that concludes this public service announcement

safest options I find is to type Boxing in the search on your Sky+ (if you have a relatively modern Sky+ box).

Isn't it now pretty much impossible to buy a television that doesn't have freeview built in? Even if you're using it solely to watch Sky or Virgin, you can still switch to the Freeview channels and watch Spike. Or is that not true of everyone?
For years I was using my old box set, with my Virgin box plugged in. That wouldn't have been able to get Spike. But I was literally the last person I knew without a flat screen telly. Even my near-70 year old parents got a flat screen TV before I did.
I'm probably wrong, because I aint the most technologically advanced of people. But isn't it true that if you have a flat screen telly, you have Spike TV? I'm on Virgin, and whenever there is boxing on Spike, I just turn the Virgin box off and watch the fights on the same TV. Doesn't the problem come with if you want to TiVo it, rather than just watch it?

My folks still use their 40 year old Hitatchi (no remote control) in their living. Mum has promised Dad that she'll get him a "nice new one" when the Hitatchi conks out - Dad has threatened it with a sledgehammer put its picture quality is probably better than my Panasonic Viera (when not in HD mode).

Hopefully they will show it as the USTV will do - as they have done previously with the Hayman events.

That's a terrible looking bag of one of each. They look like French Fries, not real Chips. No Scraps, either. Or Bread Bun or Brown Sauce. Disgraceful.

And what sort of chip shop wraps its fish and chips in a broadsheet? That looks like the Telegraph. Thought tabloid size was far better for fish and chip wrapping?

Sorry, I just copy and pasted the first image I saw when I googled it.
Maybe during the Tarver fight they can get a drunk rugby league player to provide more analysis on this issue....

Spike in the UK advertise Saturday night as "Spike Fight Night". Most Saturday nights they show either Bamma, Bellator or boxing. I think they're probably just holding back Fridays PBC show to fill their Fight Night slot. I'm sure when they broadcast Lara Vs. Rodriguez live they already had a Bellator event scheduled in for the Saturday night.

This forum will be dead for 19 hours with everyone trying not to find the result out.
That fish chips and scraps show was cringe worthy. Jamie Moore must of sacked his agent after that.

They did a F, C & S show a couple of months after the Ross Burkinshaw fight. Fish, Chips And Scraps seems to be only used for Spike TV exclusive cards. If the main event is televised on Channel 5, the punditry is more professional.
In their defence, the second show was a lot more toned down than the first. They didn't get drunk, eat takeaway or have Rugby League players as pundits. If they could just get rid of the stupid name, they'd be almost there.
Also that Lauren Frain Walker, or whatever her name is, she can stay. She's good looking, and has replied to drunken tweets from me telling her so.

During the England Expects card, I tweeted something along the lines of; "I like Lauren. None of them know anything about boxing, but at least she's fit." She favourited it. The next morning I was like; "Oh shit", tweeted her an apology but she said she took it as a compliment.
The next week I was tweeting her again. Few beers, watching Carl Frampton, saying that ITV need to hire Lauren. She favourited that as well.

I'm pretty sure that if a women likes a post on fb or favourites a tweet then she's obviously gagging for it.
Sounds like it would be a great idea to surprise her and show up in person.
