Fight confirmed on twitter for the title Paul Butler vacated.
Personally can only see one winner (Yafai) but its a decent domestic level match up. Glad to see Yafai going the traditional route and picking up the British too. Probably not a arena headliner fight (so would like to see Macklin or Eggington in bigger fights for that bill) but a decent start.

Kal should have had a fight like this 18 months ago. Noticed Cunningham lost to Jason Booth under a year ago who will have been pretty shot.

Real shame the Megrino fight failed to come through, that would have been a great test. This sort of seems like a very slow development for Yafai. When you consider the speed that some guys race through the ranks down there (in terms of the weight) it feels like Yafai is being forgotten and failed by his team.

Hope not, really rate him from what I've seen.

Really rate Yafai.
I can really see Matchroom pushing him along in the next 12 months.
Birmingham can get good crowds with him and Eggington in meaningful fights.

Eggington looks like a machine. Not saying hes world level or anything but I can't see him ever flapping it.

He's that young there's no need to rush him.
Like to see him win the Lonsdale outright then push him to Euro level in about a year.
