Just watched the Huck v Glowacki fight online and it was something special. Huck is obviously a bit rough round the edges boxing wise but he's guaranteed entertainment! His fight with Povetkin was top notch. We've had some cracking exciting fighters over the years for different reasons. Naz, Eubank, Mayweather types just for the flair and guys like Benn, Froch, Gatti, Hatton, Barerra for pure excitement. Even Khan (who I'm not a fan of) to an extent is always exciting to watch. Who is your favourite guy to watch for excitement?

Like you say, there's different types of excitement. For pure edge of your seat drama, Khan is hard to beat just because he's always one shot away from doing his Bambi on ice routine.

In terms of how excited I get during the ring entrances, I'd currently actually go for GGG. Nothing better than watching a no-nonsense, all-business KO artist about to do his thing.

Yeah, he's my favourite 'international' fighter atm. Can't believe I missed him! It's the feeling of expectation you get with GGG that was synonymous with Tyson! Kovalev is fast becoming the same!

Marco Huck (has a list of wars, gives his all pretty much every time)
Ola Afolabi (has been in plenty of those wars with Huck)
Victor Emilio Ramirez (Another Cruiserweight, this time with Latino machismo)
Denis Lebedev (tough as they come, with serious power and under-rated skills)
Sergey Kovalev (him being in the ring is exciting given his power)
Adonis Stevenson (see above)
Gennady Golovkin (comes to fight every time he's in the ring, and seeks a KO every time)
David Lemeiux (see above)
Saul Alvarez (Exciting style with a big following)
Marcos Maidana (an Argentinian brawler, what's not to love?)
Lucas Matthysse (Big punching with under-rated skills)
Ruslan Provodnikov (tough as all boots, serious power, rarely in a dull one)
Brandon Rios (All action headcase)
Takashi Uchiyama (any punch he lands could end the fight)
Takashi Miura (He should be a star given his style)
Francisco Vargas (all action guy, always worth a watch)
Nicholas Walters (any punch could end the fight)
Naoya Inoue (Always amazing watching him at work)
Srisaket Sor Rungvisai (Probably the best active Thai, he's a bit like a mini-Golovkin)
Rex Tso (defensively poor but likes a war, who are we to complain?)
Roman Gonzalez (need I say anything here?)
Daigo Higa (Japanese Flyweight who broke out earlier this year with a win against Kongfah CP Freshmart in Thailand, 3 or 4 of his fights are online)
Koki Eto (stablemate of Higa, broke out with win over Porpramook in a fight that should have been 2013 FOTY)
Takuya Kogawa (another Japanese Flyweight, defensively weak but all action)
Suguru Muranaka (yet another Japanese Flyweight with a style to enjoy)
Javier Mendoza (A brawler and a half, great fighter to watch at 108lbs)
Jonathan Taconing (criminally under-rated Filipino power house at 108)
Ryo Miyazaki (another Light Flyweight to enjoy)
Katsunari Takayama (When is this guy ever in a bad fight?)
Denver Cuello (He's not called "The Excitement" for nothing)

Others that would have been on this last 24 months ago would have included Hernan Marquez, Giovani Segura, Akira Yaegashi and Kompayak Porpamook but all 4 are looking like damaged goods right now...

...and I know I'm missing a load of others who are incredibly exciting as well...

the Williams/Sprott/Skelton/Harrison saga threw up some classics

I was still too young when Michael Watson got retired to have had a chance to see him - so for me, my favourite boxer, the one that got me going was Chris Eubank. It was an event when Eubank fought - as the caption accompanying one of his ring entrance photos from his book says, "pure box-office".
Later, funnily enough, it would be the man that took over from him that became my favourite, Joe Calzaghe.

Discounting all the boxers I didn't get to watch live: Tyson, Trinidad, Ibeabuchi, Haye at cruiser, and Golovkin. If it was Most Entertaining, Eubank and Hamed.

Big mistake that, because it meant Pacquaio knew he could hurt him when they went into the rematch, but that's just who Morales was.

I think any fighter that i am fully behind is exciting. They may not actually be an exciting style but it's a buzz that's hard to match when you know one mistake could end it!

At the moment GGG, Kovalev & Gonzalez. Of older times, Froch, Hamed, pre-Hunter Khan, Pacman, Gatti, Morales, Trinidad, Mayorga, Corrales, Vargas, Hearns, Tyson.

Technically there were at least 3 'fairly exciting' (or at least shock value) fights between them.

Sprott Harrison 1 & 2

And possibly the Sprott/Williams one with the dodgy ending made it interesting?

Shame about the other ~10 fights though.

There're some great names on here, I'd add Pavlik and Paul Ryan, Kevin Lueshing was in a few really good scraps as well.

Just now I'd say Roman Gonzales, GGG, Kovalev and Beterbiev. Miguel Cotto gets an honourable mention too.
