(CORRUPT WBA) Why is Broner fighting for the WBA Regular?

So Jessie Vargas vacates his 140 pound WBA Regular Belt and moves to 147 to fight Tim Bradley.
So naturally you would think that the next in line (WBA Interim Champions) Jose Benavidez would be made the WBA Regular Champion, or at least get to fight for the belt against the 1st ranked opponent, no?
How much money did Haymon pay the WBA to get Broner in a fight for this belt?
When Danny Garcia vacates his WBA Super Champions belt, Broner will basically become champ after he beats Allakhverdiev.

Tonights fight with Mares-Santa Cruz is for Walters old WBA Featherweight title,it looks as if Jesus Cuellar has been cast aside pretty swiftly

It is just easier to ignore the alphabet groups.
They are corrupt and they suck

I agree. Just ignore the title attached to any fight.

Sad, but true.

Yeah but considering that Cuellar is with Haymon, he was probably ordered by uncle Al to pass on the title shot intentionally.
They also passed on Carlos Zambrano as well. The top two fighters in WBA's ratings: Cuellar&Zambrano did not fight for the title. LOL
I also don't understand how you can fight for a vacant WBA Super Belt if the only way you can get that belt is to either unify the regular WBA Belt with another one or defend the regular belt at least 8 times.
WBA is fucked up. It is quickly become the most corrupt and useless boxing association.
IBF is the only good one left.

Going to be next to impossible to match Benavidez against Broner due to the promotional conflicts aswell.
Benavidez well and truly stitched up by the WBA here.

Broner fighting for a belt? Great. He has a name that will attract an audience and he deserves another shot. Still young and a champ in 3 weight classes.

The WBA are a joke, constantly changing their own rules just to make a few extra bucks all the time.
I'm sure they could make a profit and maintain a certain degree of integrity, if they really wanted to.

Based on.......losing his last fight? Way to set that bar.

Hate the WBA with a passion absolute disgrace to the sport. The others have had their faults but nowhere near as bad.
The thought of Broner claiming to be a 4 weight world champion makes me sick too

If only Uncle "I don't mention any organisations, thus currying favour with the easily led who think I'm on some kind of lovely crusade, but make sure all my fighters fight for them at every opportunity (even pressuring for sanctioning behind the scenes)" Al felt remotely the same way.
