I dont mind this fight ,i would have muched preferred Soro but despite Thompson being KO'd in 2 before from a novice i was still impressed with him in Boxcino,he was always the underdog and still won so that tells me he wont be fazed which is a good thing in anyones book and Adams might not be a world beater but that was still an impressive KO

Smith isnt an established world champ and his records not exactly stacked so its not exactly a mismatch,i still think Liam will be far too strong for John and even finish him early on ,probably with the bodyshots

I can only imagine how many fighters would jump at the chance to fight for a major belt against someone like Thompson.

He's an okay fighter, maybe lower top 30 or so, but as someone who was very excited about Soro-Smith this is a big letdown.

Don't forget Liam Smiths best win is against Eric Ochieng who then went on a losing run.

Will watch this Thompson later but I did feel Soro may have won convincingly so could work out well for Liam.
