Really good show, on until 10. Gareth A Davis saying promising talks have been held between Khan and Pacquiao after he set up a meeting between Bob Arum and Khan's people, I really hope it happens.

WTF is Stephen Merchant doing hosting a boxing talk show? :)

Got it on now Martin Murray on the phone at the minute.

Gareth A Davies seems a likeable bloke - and I'm sure he has studious knowledge of the sport - but he lacks a shrewd reading of fights and fighters.

That didn't occur to me until you said it! The legend Smerch is clearly multi talented

allegedly on now talking about Frank Bruno, I was only a nipper then but I've watched it multiple times since on allegedly - what a great atmosphere that was, wish I could have been there. Interesting to hear that allegedly had Naz and Benn there partly to distract McCall as he was known for being mentally weak.

How do you mean? I think he's pretty decent, though I am certainly no expert on my favourite sport, merely a huge fan

I just remember listening to some of his shows and being baffled by a few of his observations. I can't recall specific examples tbh...

No worries, I wish they did more boxing shows to be honest. I don't think any other sport has as many great stories as boxing.

is this going to be a regular feature? I missed it.

I usually avoid TS like the plague because all they normally talk about is football & although I love football too, it gets a bit tiresome talking about it 24 hours day.

Saying all that, on the rare occasions they do boxing shows, they do a really good job.

They occasionally do a show called Fight Club, hosted by Gareth Davies & it is always first class listening.
