I didn't believe Jamie could do it the first time, but he proved me wrong & I'll not make the same mistake twice. McDonnell in a close decision, he'll take over in the later stages again :bag:

Kameda SD-He fought like an idiot last time out and showed the typical arrogance that the Kameda's are well known for. The loss will likely have humbled him. Very close though.

Kameda close but comfortable. I wrote McDonnell off the first time but so what do I know!

I'm really nervous for Jamie in this one.
Not for pure boxing reasons - I'm worried that in a close affair he's going to get jobbed.
I genuinely think Jamie has to win by ko with a 15 count.

He will, he won't get dropped this time either and his training set up ought to be a bit more settled.

McDonnell has a cracking chin, that shot that Kameda put him down with would've KO'd some guys or at least signalled the end but Jamie looked buzzed for a second then carried on as before

Think that was the first time Jamie had been down ever armature or pro (not 100 % on that though) pretty sure he got buzzed on a dome show years ago when he first started out against delroy Spencer but that was a flash knockdown and was ruled a slip if memory serves correct but anyway the jap landed heavy at the highest level and Jamie just jumped and carried on Un fazed not only does he carry a good chin bit also has the heart to recover from a knockdown and take over a fight I think it takes someone with serious power to stop him ceja is a massive puncher and couldn't faze him I think it takes a big puncher from an higher weight to stand a chance of stopping him thats just my opinion though anyway I have Jamie in this in another close one and hopefully he gets a unification against yamanaka or a big fight at super bantam

It is worth noting that Tomoki isn't a puncher. Many in the west may well have been impressed by his KO of Pungluang sor Singyu (who has since gone on to claim the WBO title) but Tomoki isn't a puncher. It was a great shot that dropped McDonnell but it was the timing and placement that dropped him, not the power. His 59% KO rate is rather flattering and he's only scored 1 KO since stepping up to world level, his best stoppages are Pungluang, Nouldy Manakane and Jairo Hernandez.

Yamanaka is certainly the division's puncher, Omori appears to possess a real whack as well.

Yes mate it's on sky next weekend.

I think Kameda will win a decision in another close fight.
It could of gone either way last time without too many complaints.

I'm unsure I feel Jamie is at his peak and Kameda will get better over time. Kamedas problem is he is to flashy and throws too much out of range. All depends on what Kameda has learnt from his first loss but Jamie will certainly have more confidence.

Desperate for Jamie to win mainly because he is after this he could be 1 or 2 fights away from becoming "the man" at Bantam we have not had "the man" at a weight since Calzaghe ( or Haye at cruiser can't remember what was first).

I could be wrong on that mate as it was years ago now and I was young myself but sure I can remember been shocked then the ref said it was a slip so it could av just been a slip never seen no footage since and I thought he took the Edwards fight but was tight couldn't agree more though it's amazing to think how much he has come on in recent years good person to look up at if your going to take up boxing shows defeats are not the end of the world and he came back from back to back defeats :TU:

Does anyone know if this is on UK TV and if so what time? Can't see anything on the listings. I just assumed it was SKY but they don't have anything listed.

This is gonna be another great fight, and close all the way again id imagine, could be a SD,hopefully getting the win in the first fight will give McDonnell the confidence to start off fast this time,Kameda is gonna be on him straight away and Jamie's wanting to win more decisive this time so it could be even more exciting than last time,McDonnell has a superb engine so getting his punch's off early wont be a problem,Kameda is good enough to outpoint Jamie too so its all about who gets their gameplan right on the night,i suspect it will be razor thin but i can see McDonnell doing the double

I need dirrell to win tonight and McDonnell to win between round 8 - 12 or points for my 11 bet accumulator to come in. I think he won the last and will win this through work rate.
