Mayweather getting stopped on cuts vs Berto

I think the only way Berto can win this fight is if he somehow cuts Mayweather on the eye lids and the doctor is forced to stop it. I could see this happening in the 10-11 rd while Mayweather is leading on all scorecards.

You heard it here first :box:

I like your thinking CH but let's be serious, there's no way Floyd loses in this fashion in his home arena with his home referee and home judge. They will rule that the cuts were caused by a clash of heads and they will go to the scorecards and Floyd will win. Berto's ONLY shot at a W is a phantom one in a million, winning lottery ticket type punch that flattens Floyd Manny-style. That's the only way Berto gets his hand raised. Odds are 1 in 5000 that happening.

Yeah, good thing Floyd gets his own arena, ref, and judges, or he would only have a .500 record.

You're close but still just missing it.

It is a cut that ends the fight, but its a cut on Mayweathers knee. They have a clash of knees in round 6, and Floyd's knee bleeds more because he drinks soda so he's clearly a pussy. The blood makes it harder for him to move without his sock squishing because of the moisture and he quits on his stool before the start of the 12th. The home referee and two of the judges try to coax Floyd out of the corner but he refuses, even after getting a text from Obama saying if he had a son he'd look like Floyd.

Berto wins in the greatest sports moment in history, before dropping his title in a hotly contested rematch with Jesus Soto Karass who takes over as the p4p number one and TBE. All hail Renuente!!

Wasn't the point of the reference but nice reach there, per usual. Here come the Floyd Police everyone...move along...there's nothing more to see here.

I watched Berto's last two fights again recently and my dumb brain is misleading me again trying to tell me that this fight with Floyd is actually going to be interesting. Berto has a GREAT and underrated jab that impressed me. He struggled with Lopez but who doesn't? Lopez has had good rounds against a bunch of good fighters. Maidana, Alvarez and Vargas. This fight will probably be a loser but I also think it has a chance of being a fun fight.

Yeah sure because implying that the Ref and Judges is going to cheat for him is an excellent strategy

Yeah because Bayless and Moretti would let that happen. LOL.

It's funny that guys like you who claim to actually like Floyd just can't seem to help themselves to take a whack at him in one or another thus revealing your true self.

You implicitly stated that "there's no way Floyd loses in this fashion in his home arena with his home referee and home judge. They will rule that the cuts were caused by a clash of heads and they will go to the scorecards and Floyd will win."

And no way in hell were you joking, you meant that!! So it is fair to say that you obviously have a disdain for Mayweather if you believe that BS you wrote.

Honestly though you are just like the rest of them who hate for whatever reason.

He won't get stopped on cuts. Mayweather is obviously good at avoiding contact, of any kind. The obvious way to beat Mayweather is to outwork him with volume, and that isn't happening here either.

Mayweather UD, in a prediction that will shock absolutely no one, including Berto and his trainer.

I mean I could make a thread saying "All Betro has to do is land a bomb, and follow up" and it would be about as probable. Could it happen in theory? Sure, but it won't.

Odd way of thinking...

You can be fan of someone and still be critical or even cheer against them. If you think liking a fighter means you can never say anything negative about them, you are confusing liking with worshiping.

Pump the break KBB, i'm not the best writer in the world but there's no way i've said that I liked Floyd. All that i said was that I didn't want to see Floyd lose to a punk at 40 years old and i mean that. By chump, i'm talking about Thurman, Brook, Khan, Porter etc. You probably have me confused with another poster which is fine.

My only point here is that Floyd is NEVER going to lose a fight at this point in his career by Cuts or Injury given the historical importance of the fight and in his home court. That's just a simple observation my girl could even make. It's just home cooking that champions get: Sergio's non knockdown vs Murray in Argentina. Pascal vs Hopkins in Canada. Oscar over Sturm. etc. Home field advantage is just as alive in Boxing as any other sport. That's all that i'm saying.

the brakes are pumped, tbh I have never seen Floyd need a home field advantage and I don't think he'd ever get one if it all came down to it too.

It seems like there's some kind of Marciano Curse out there that dooms fighters who get close to that mythical number, none surpass his numbers with perfection. Fighters have come close but they end up with a draw on their ledger like Ricardo or they lose in some close bout like the robbery of Holmes but somehow they never seem to tie it or beat it with perfection.

It almost seems as destiny is waiting to doom Floyd because if by some strange way of events that this fight is even remotely close that the fate of the Marciano Curse will befall Floyd and we will see Berto get the "W". I wouldn't be surprised if that happened especially given that no one is giving Andre even a remote chance of winning this fight much in the way no one gave Buster Douglas a chance vs Tyson and look what happened.

A man that loses to Lopez does not and cannot beat Mayweather.

What happens if Bieber isn't in the entourage and Mayweather loses.

One week before an FMJ fight and this is the only thread about the fight?

Sad and pathetic finish if this is actually FMJ's final conflict (extremely unlikely).

That is because this is not a ballet or track forum but the boxing one.

Great take and some vintage KBB. There is something definitely odd about this one, absolutely. But I've had these thoughts before with Floyd's fights and i've never even been close to correct. Not even remotely close. Floyd fans will be happy when this one's over and his hands raised though, that's for sure.

If Floyd loses then the worst thing in the world will happen (no, Beiber won't kill himself), he'll just start back making terrible music again.
