Judah fight SCRAPPED due to brawl injury at weigh in

It looks like Zab Judah couldn’t wait to get his hands on Hevinson Herrera. So much so, that they brawled at Wednesday’s weigh-in, resulting in Herrera being injured an unable to fight. Their match, which was to be Judah’s first fight in two years, has been SCRAPPED.
Apparently the two welterweights had a heated exchange while waiting for the other fighters on the card to weigh in. According to witnesses, Herrera (18-11-1, 12 KOs) said something to the Brooklynite, even though Herrera doesn’t speak English. Herrera head-butted him when they close too close and Judah countered with a punch to the head.
According to reports, it appeared as though the Colombian was punched in the chest, but he claimed he was drilled in the head and complained of a headache. The doctor on hand deemed him unfit to fight, thus cancelling their fight. Judah (42-9, 29 KOs) still weighed in just in case promoter Greg Cohen can find a replacement by Thursday morning. He told ESPN.com that it’s unlikely to happen.
Cohen said that there will be disciplinary action taken against both fighters and that the rest of the card will go on as scheduled.
