This is the inaugural event and I hope it grows in status and IMO far over due.

Barry Hearn? He inflicted some of the worst shows ever to be shown on Sky on us, including Eubanks World tour and leisure centre specials.

Why Hastings as the venue out of interest? Shame it is not endorsed by one of the magazines over here.

Replace Jimmy Tibbs with Brendan Ingle is a must.

always thought this would be a good idea if done right - not putting jimmy wilde as first posthumous inductee is a bit mad though

Is it going to be a physical building or just a virtual idea? I think a British boxing museum like the national football museum with an attached hall of fame would be great

Good idea in theory, but the BBBofC should probably do it, not just some enthusiastic blokes.

If none of you know who Wynford Jones is, I can shed some light.
He's one of the nicest people you'd ever hope to meet. A boxing enthusiast who has a kind word for everybody. A gentleman, and sadly, one of a dying breed.

May I endorse everything Mr Dalcumly has said about Mr Wynford Jones as correct. Having worked with Wynford many times over the years he really is 100% sound & a pleasure to be with. I hope that you are enjoying your retirement Wynford.

This is going from strength to strength and in it's third year at Hastings. Central Midlands is hosting it in 2018, every year a total sell out with over 100 people on the waiting list. Well done to all the EBA's out there who put a lot of their free time into this. Frank Bruno inducted this year and was on GMB this morning talking about it.

If you haven't been to one of these you are missing a great event. They need to get a proper web page going with all inductees and backing information.
