Lol this garbage is $60 in Canada. I'm not even touching this card, even though I live in Toronto.

The poor ref tried so hard to give Razor extra time to recover too

It actually surprises me that it's being held in Toronto. I'm from Quebec, and boxing is huge there with the recent successes of the Haitian and Romanian transplants, as well as Lemiuex, not to mention Lucas and the Hiltons a few years ago.

In the ROC? Boxing seems about as big as fencing, as far as I can tell.

its not on spike canada lol

Bobby, there has been a huge wave from GYM thanks to the francophone games in Gatineau which helped him sign plenty of prospects and start GYM well... even got boxing here on prime time TV as you probably know. That was huge to get boxing to regular TV (while Interbox was putting on some of the worse PPVs ever like Lucas vs Menefee)

That wasn't my point. That's Quebec, not Ontario, or anywhere else in Canada for that matter.

Anybody giving Van Heerden a chance? I've followed Chris career pretty closely, and have been looking forward to this fight.

I'd love to see Chris get the upset. I'll go WAY out on a limb and say he's gonna get a SD here.

Close first round. I'm sure Spence got it on accuracy, though CVH was more active.

Spence 1-0

GYM has been trying to set up an event in Toronto for Years since it started. Wanted Ross and fighters like Lo Greco to headline. Never materialized mainly due to Ross' unlucky career endings

It's a market to develop for them no doubt.

CVH started strong, landed a really good right in the first minute. Spence took over the remaining two minutes.

2-0 Spence.

Stylistically it will be hard for Heerden. He likes to stalk behind a jab and gradually let his hands go in straight combos and body shots. He is not too good at dealing with angles.

It's Spence's fight to lose. Spence just has to keep moving, impose his speed and control the center.

Round three clear for Spence and he hurt CVH. I know Chris is rough and tumble. Spence is really looking like the real deal. CVH with a little success late.

3-0 Spence.

Ref takes a point for mouth piece being punched out with no warning

Spence doesn't need the ref's help, but he wants his camera time I guess.

4-0 Spence.

Spence is a beast.

Got the guy battered and his mouthpiece coming out and it's only round 4.

I can see this guy competing with the top 147 pounders in 3 or 4 more fights.

He looks ready now. Van Heerden is a good fighter, and Spence is making him look bad so far.

Yeah, but he he has got to learn to take this level of fighter out a little sooner. The great ones do that more often than not.

No real complaints tho, and they are saying this guy has never been stopped.

Chris is tough with an iron chin. The great ones follow their game plan, just like Spence is doing. Two knockdowns in that round for Spence.

Spence is impressing like crazy tonight.

No point taken for Errol's mouth piece coming out

Ref stops it. Spence looked amazing, totally shut down a good fighter in CVH. Spence is ready for the top.

Yep, because he followed his game plan. Very smart fighter, showing experience only top level fighters have to stick with his plan and get the win.
