I'm telling you now, that the world is filled with hate moreso now than any other time in history, especially the boxing world.

People are still seething and ranting and looking for anything they can find to beat Floyd Mayweather with, they are totally incapable of doing it in the ring, and they are angry as hell that this man is still doing it big and undefeated.

He toyed with and beat their beloved lying @$$ hero Manny Pacquiao who claimed that he had a Rotator Cuff tear and somehow just swimming in Saltwater has healed him but his fans aren't able to accept the loss.

Face it, all of you will be angry the rest of your lives, Floyd will ride off into the sunset undefeated and Manny will ride off in shame and defeat with a trail of lies to support him.

Good luck in dealing with your denial but it is ok for you to man up and admit that you hate Mayweather and want nothing more than to see him beaten badly and KO'd and wind up broke.

It's ok to hate the Black Man, the rest of the world does and you racist types are no different you just hide well.

Why bring that garbage into a boxing forum? I don't know what kind of history you have with members and maybe it's gone sideways at times but as soon as you start whining about racism, I think "oh, he's one of these guys." People who see racism in everything are often racist themselves. Are you one of those guys who hates the Klitschkos and claims the division is weak? Or claim GGG is a bum who's never fought anyone? Or that Calzaghe would had got his a$$ beat by RJJ in his prime? Maybe your opinion is tied to your racist thinking. I'm not saying there aren't any racists on this board but to call out a giant swath of members because they don't like Floyd says more about you than them.

But, I think KBB may have a point.

I see a lot of similarity between the way the public and press treats Floyd and what I have read about how the public and press treated Jack Johnson.

And the way Ali was treated most of his career.

Truth is, outspoken Black men (and other non-caucasians) who don't follow the script wind up villified, while those who smile and play along get good treatment.

He has no point whatsoever and neither do you. If the press is ever rough on Floyd it's because he deserves it and not because he's black. 1) The heavyweight division is weak. It's the weakest I can ever remember it being. And has been for quite some time.
2) GGG has yet to fight an elite fighter at his own weight or above. And shows no inclination to do so in the near future. That is a fact.
3) A way past prime Roy Jones Jr had Calzaghe on his ass in RD 1 of their fight. I am guessing a prime Jones does a lot better.

It is not racist to feel this way or say these things. I know many folks who say these things and they are all from differing walks of life.
No one should tolerate Floyd's own antics, which include some pretty vile and racist things.
But that doesn't mean he is not also a victim of racism, especially when it comes to how he is often treated.
Fortunately for Floyd, he found a way to take advantage of that racism and have it translate into monetary gain.

I don't disagree but don't you get tired of whining? Always looking for racism in a situation? I sincerely hope you were joking when you compared what Jack Johnson went through to what Floyd is going through. That is an insult to Johnson and every other Black person who lived in that time period. Questioning a man for beating up women is a far cry from arresting a man because he had a White girlfriend. When did questioning someone's motives or career choices become paramount to racism?
