Speaking on Channel 10 last night, Danny Green said his next bout was likely to be in Melbourne in early December and that an opponent had yet to be decided.
If they were to meet, why would Green, much less Pitt, want an 87kg weight limit?DA GOOSE wrote:Brad Pitt at 87kg maybe?
Pitt apparently can make 87 Im just throwing it out there as Pitt has challenged him and called him a p***y. As for the 87kg weight limit Danny isn't a cruiserweight he won't fight Pitt at 90.7kg.Redback Rasta wrote:If they were to meet, why would Green, much less Pitt, want an 87kg weight limit?DA GOOSE wrote:Brad Pitt at 87kg maybe?
He's a cruiserweight but a small cruiserweight he won't allow his opponent to weigh in up to the cruiserweight limit. Maybe I should have said he's not a genuine cruiserweight.ClivePatrickLyons wrote:whats this about Green not being a Cruiserweight unless the post have been moved he's a cruiserweight he's not the biggest cruiseweight in the world but a cruiserweight all the same you'll see if you look at some boxing ranking's just check the bit about what weight you have to be to participate in that particular weight class you now how if you weigh between 79.38kg and 90.71 your are in boxing a cruiserweight no ifs or buts.
Yes but it's hardly a glamour division and he has only allowed 2 of his opponents to weigh in at the full Cruiserweight limit of 90.7kg and been KTFO both times.Like a Boss wrote:Danny Green is probably the most successful cruiserweight Australia has ever produced.
If you differ to that view ensure you offer the name of an Australian cruiserweight who has achieved more than Green has to support your opinion.

They should merge some of the lighter weight divisions where there is only 3 lbs difference in the Bantam, featherweight divisions and have a Cruiserweight 175 -187lb and a Super Cruiszerweight 187-200lb division IMO.ra2006 wrote:The old Dannyweight saga.
TBF, I have always thought that there is quite a jump between the LHWs at 79kg and the cruisers at 90KG
11kgs is a lot of difference in size. But there you go, and last thing we need to more world champions!
Yeah we all know what happens to Danny Greeny when he allows his opponents to fight a fair fight at cruiserweight.DA GOOSE wrote: He's a cruiserweight but a small cruiserweight he won't allow his opponent to weigh in up to the cruiserweight limit. Danny Green could fight Shane Quinn at CW limit & Green would still get KTFODA GOOSE wrote:Yes but it's hardly a glamour division and he has only allowed 2 of his opponents to weigh in at the full Cruiserweight limit of 90.7kg and been KTFO both times.Like a Boss wrote:Danny Green is probably the most successful cruiserweight Australia has ever produced.

He beat Bolonti easily enough. How was Bolonti not allowed to fight fair?Francis75 wrote:Yeah we all know what happens to Danny Greeny when he allows his opponents to fight a fair fight at cruiserweight.DA GOOSE wrote: He's a cruiserweight but a small cruiserweight he won't allow his opponent to weigh in up to the cruiserweight limit. Bolonti in a lightheavyweight matey. Greeny doesn't fight in that division because he is too big for it. Funny how Danny Greeny continually fights at cruiser but never actually fights a cruiser. He did twice and we all know what happened to him.bogan whisperer wrote: He beat Bolonti easily enough. How was Bolonti not allowed to fight fair?
Bolonti fought 3 weeks prior to the Green fight, would have barely prepared for the fight & was most likely half way through his vacation, professional fighters don't back up that quick if they seriously want the winbogan whisperer wrote:He beat Bolonti easily enough. Bolonti's previous fight lasted less than 2 rounds and there was only 3 weeks in total between the 2 fights. Bolonti also obviously knew he was to fight Green inside those 3 weeks. So he hardly had much time to be out of shape and "half way through a vacation."GhostBoxing15 wrote:Bolonti fought 3 weeks prior to the Green fight, would have barely prepared for the fight & was most likely half way through his vacation, professional fighters don't back up that quick if they seriously want the winbogan whisperer wrote:He beat Bolonti easily enough. Green is an undersized cruiserweight who fought an overside light heavyweight the same size as him. There was less than a pound difference in their weights. Here's a memory refresher for you:Francis75 wrote:Bolonti in a lightheavyweight matey. Greeny doesn't fight in that division because he is too big for it. The reason Bolonti lost is he was completely outclassed.
If they meet I'm more than happy to cover your betGhostBoxing15 wrote:Danny Green could fight Shane Quinn at CW limit & Green would still get KTFODA GOOSE wrote:Yes but it's hardly a glamour division and he has only allowed 2 of his opponents to weigh in at the full Cruiserweight limit of 90.7kg and been KTFO both times.Like a Boss wrote:Danny Green is probably the most successful cruiserweight Australia has ever produced.
