So Washington calls himself "Gallo Negro"
Doesn't that mean "Black C ock"?
Mansour is 46,but still beats Washington I reckon

I think Washington, because Mansour is 43 and spent his prime in prison.
Next to that, Washington is simply 10% bigger.

I am blown away that haymon is putting washington in with mansour. I don't think mansour is anything great, but i don't trust any of the haymon heavyweights.

I think despite his age, Mansour will win.

I tend to agree with this. Washington is still pretty unknown really, so it's a hard fight to predict.

I'm inclined to go with Amir Mansour.

I would go with, Amir Mansour by KO. I think he would break him down around the 5th or 6th rounds.

When Washington knows he can hurt his opponent, he usually boxes aggressively in power shot combos.
He used to be a little wild and wide with his hooks combo when in finishing mode... but he started to use his straight punch arsenal more effectively... still has shaky balance when throwing in combos though and following through with the weight shifts a little too much.
He was the first to drop Tank Williams... But like vs Nagy, he then realized he wouldn't win by stoppage and boxed doing the minimal... cruising through rounds and not working enough or showing good stamina late... Might hurt him vs Mansour if he can't take him out early.
Southpaw Mansour is one of the most brutal explosive heavyweight right now. He is a little old but not too ring worn due to his trip to jail...
When he is fighting easy opposition, he goes out swinging and it can be very brutal.
Really is an entertaining fighter to watch vs limited oppostion
He has his share of impressive KOs
The part that is less impressive is how he gets a little sloppy when the fight is high pace and it goes the distance... He is not big and has to hang on the inside where his fast hands, balance and pwoer shots do the talking. It take lots of stamina to fight that way and if his opponent hangs around, he can display some arm punches and looked puzzled... Like vs Harris.
Some very entertaining fighters on the undercard... Michael Hunter who looks like a talented Cruiserweight prospect.
Elbiali also on the undercard... Matched to produce another brutal stoppage
We also have body puncher Lo Greco matched vs Veteran Munguia... that has War written all over it

Mansour vs Briggs would be a great fight imo.
I think Mansour destroys Brazeale so this will show what sort of level Washington is at, I think he might be a little better than the Olympian actually - great fight

Old People on TV Night.
Sanders vs Clinton and
Washington vs Mansour
Clinton and Washington by decisions is my guess.

Pretty much the fight i expected... Both could've came out swinging as they had that ring personality but both used there more careful ring personality... Washington puzzled Mansour early with his straight punch arsenal. I think washington used his better reach and straight punch arsenal well... good gameplan... but again he went the distance and lacked the distance to end strong... Mansour was able to pressure him in the ropes in the second half and he was able to let his hands go... IMO Mansour won a close decision.

I was only flipping over occasionally from the Mets game but a draw seemed like a fair result. Seemed like Washington faded in the middle rounds and Mansour's pressure started getting to him. Washington was holding a lot down the stretch which the ref never warned him about.

I'd like to see a rematch, before the match started I expected Washington to win, even though it would be his hardest fight ever yet.

Washington clearly needs to work on his conditioning. He looks very physically athletic, however his stamina issues were a problem by round 5.
I don't get why Washington abandoned his game plan? He needed to stay on the outside use his feet to create angles and keep Mansour at the end of his punches. As soon as I saw him neglect that plan I knew he was in trouble.
The good body work for Mansour plaid huge dividends. If this was 12 rounds Washington probably would have been stopped.

I don't think he abandoned the game plan, he's just not good enough to stick to it for a full match. It's not easy to force a fight the way you want it. Washington doesn't have the skill set or the conditioning to make a guy even at Mansours level fight his fight for ten round.

I thought a draw was fair call. Washington won the first half, Mansour won the 2nd half. If anybody deserved the win it was Mansour because the 5th round was close, and could've went either way.
The 97-93 card for Washington was a joke. He lost the entire 2nd half of the fight.

This.
I had no problem with the draw.I would of not complained if it was a one point win for
either fighter.
