He s in Hartlepool soon after I'm going looking forward to it but when ever he s on TV it's as if he can't be arsed to even talk but hope this night with be different I'll be asking him a lot of questions believe me

Now I`m as much for random acts of genital mutilation and anal violation as the next man,but I`m surprised at the level of cynicism towards Joe,what`s the general opinion of him then?
Guess he`s not particularly charismatic,but I think i`d find him interesting and bearable for a couple of hours-As long as he didn`t bring his Dad,obviously .......

For me it's not about Joe and Joe alone. It's sportsmen in general. The mere idea of spending an evening listening to one rattling on about anything has me yawning. Great at doing what they did, I know, I watched.

I can categorically state now, No one in Hartlepool will understand the lingo of Calzaghe. Is he taking an interpritor with him. Also a little bit of advice for Mr Calzaghe, do not ask why they are called 'monkey hangers' you will not get out of Hartlepool a virgin.

I'd rather spend money on an evening with Tocker Pudwill.

I'm told that in person he is quite funny and interesting. I just don't think that part of him came across on the TV. ITs probably a matter of being comfortable in front of the camera. I do remember when Joe went through a period of trying to copy Hamed''s shtick... Saying something like 'they can't take the power' without the cockiness needed to make that statement...

That was absolutely mortifyingly cringeworthy, I can remember almost hiding behind my hands as he was doing it, he had this smarmy expression on his face, and they did this bit where he was shadowboxing for what seemed an eternity - excruciating - it was like watching a compilation of all the most mawkish bits of blind date rolled into a single episode.

Hahhahaaha I agree. Even as a fan of his and I was young and naive I still cringed! I think it was after he knocked out Tyler Hughes or some other no hoper like Branko Sobot

He's just an ordinary person.

I"m a big fan of John Legend's music, but that looks absolutely bizarre.

Also a big fan of Joe Calzaghe's boxing but have zero interest in listening to him talk about his career, really.
