...I'm after Jimmy Ellis (the white dude that fought Foreman) vs Don Askew. It was on the undercard of Nunn-Starling.

Has anyone got it? Can you upload it? I lasts less than a round?

Hi

I have this. If no one gets to load it before me I will try when I got some time... Haven't seen it since it was first aired but I remember it being a really good fight with Ellis' nose getting splattered.... But I could be confusing it with another fight....

Cool. Do you record every fight on TV that you can or do you only collect old fights or particular fights? Do you have a youtube channel?

Oh yes I remember you posted the Cooper stuff. I wasn't after anything just curious with how you collected fights. Any plans to put them on YouTube, be a great channel if you did by the sounds of it.

Nunn vs Starling was my first all-nighter watching a big fight live from the States. We put our sky dish up that week.

I was only 12 years old and I really struggled to stay the course, so I missed the Ellis v Askew fight.

One fight I do remember very clearly from that card is a young Gabe Ruelas fighting a guy called Jeff Franklin. Ruelas scored an early Kd and seemed to be in control when Franklin wrenched down on his arm in a clinch and bent Ruelas' elbow back the way it's not supposed to bend. It was a really horrific thing to watch and the fight was stopped, with Franklin getting the tko.

I wasn't impressed with the main event, I couldn't see any way Starling could overcome such a big height deficit. I wrote him off before the first bell and never really got into the fight. But I'm pretty sure I would find alot to appreciate if (when) I rewatch that fight.

Sorry to contribute absolutely nothing Keith, just thought I'd share that.
