When Batman was sat there at the Klitschko press conference, he seemed to deal with The Joker fairly easily. I'm not even convinced that The Joker wanted to win there.

Not a chance. It's not often spoke about but Batman was a 2 time All American wrestler at Penn state, the technique shown in that take-down was textbook and the Joker didn't have the take-down defense to match.
