Cracking match up on the undercard of frank buglioni's world title fight on Saturday night. Both lads 13-0, credit to them for both stepping up to the plate with no title on the line, being fought over 10 rounds. How do people see this one going?

theres some really good match ups on this card as well as Corcoran / Skelton as you mention:

Walsh v Mouneimme, favour Walsh but think he could be given problems by Mouneimme

Pettit v Jenkinson, think the home fighter Pettitt really got his work cut out for him here Jenkinsons non stop and has gone away and upset the applecart before

Skeete v Thompson, can't see anything but a Skeete win but Thompsons operated at a decent level and as the naturally bigger man could course Skeete problems

Really looking forward to Saturday

Just noticed allegedly starts from 6pm too so should see plenty!

Fairly comfortable win for Gary for me. Skelton has met no one of note & has very little power but hopefully I can be proved wrong & its a cracking fight.

Skelton's lack of power is the only thing that makes me question him winning, other than that I can see him outboxing Corcoran, if he hits hard enough to stop him in his tracks he wins the fight IMO.

Does anyone know why Danny Butler isn't fighting Patterson anymore? Have a lot of respect for Butler, like Nick Blackwell and Dave Ryan he's been matched tough and seems all the better for it.

Odds on Gary Corcoran VS Rick Skelton seem away of in Corcoran being 1/6 with Paddy Power. Skelton is a tidy slick boxer with fast hands and great movement, and has a real chance of a win here against Corcoran who is a pressure fighter that doesn't punch anywhere near as hard as he imagines he does.

Edit Odds on Corcoran have dropped to 2/9 since I posted this on the betting thread

Did they say why they didn't show these fights? I chucked it and went to bed after Buglioni and stuck the rest of the show to record.

Corcoran won 97-94 points.

The B0xnati0n twitter account is getting some abuse for not showing more of the fights. Don't understand how they couldn't fit them all on the broadcast considering how much filler they showed.

Chisora's fight seemed pointless at the time but even more so given how it soaked up so much of the primetime section of the show, was utterly dreadful, and displaced better fights from getting on air. I guess the plan was for a quick blast out. Lots of fighters would kill for an exposure opportunity like that, well done delboy for coming in overweight and being poor.

Corcoran should get more exposure IMO not the best but he has a good aggressive style about him and fighting decent fights before he fights for a first title.

Skeete won in third Thompson possible hip dislocation according to boxrec, hope the lads ok!

Totally agree, he's gets very little exposure and is a good fighter with a very fan friendly style, in his last 2 fights he's beat Rick godding 22-0 and rick Skelton 13-0 both who were ranked above him and still Gary hasn't had any type of title fight in his 14 fights to date, his last 2 fights were surely worth being for a title of some sorts.

He's got to be in line for the Britsh or commonwealth next fight.

He's a exciting fighter aswell. Doesn't stop coming forward.

Gary is the Man he don't stop throwing punches and coming forward......
