Frustrating to be a boxing fan these days

The fight I most wanted to see, Stevenson-Kovalev, was supposed to happen in 2014 but probably never will. :(

I would have liked to see Lomachenko-Rigondeaux, but now Loma is fighting another journeyman. And now the fight I was most looking forward to this fall, Fury-Klitschko, has been postponed. :verysad:

I see lots and lots of mismatches on the schedule for the coming weeks, but few interesting, competitive matchups. :witzend:

Boxing really has a problem putting together competitive fights. It's pathetic.

Take just one card where Wilder, Martin, Breazeale, and Wawrzyk are fighting - - but not each other.

Why can't it be Martin vs Breazeale, Wawrzk vs Duhaupas, and Wilder vs someone competitive?

It's as frustrating to be a UK boxing fan; the Fury v Wlad bout was part of a double headed PPV along with Brook v Chaves. The Wlad bout is postponed and the UK promoter Eddie Hearn is insisting Brook v Chaves remains PPV - its not fair

I'm so old I remember when Norton fought Shavers for a crack at the title and Ali fought Frazier in a non title fight. Those were the days when a guy liked Norton wanted to avenge his upset loss to Jose Luis Garcia. Now when there's an upset loss, the loser gets depressed and takes 3 years off.

Ha ha they don't fight often enough these days. What's become of Pulev? It's almost a year since he fought. What if baseball teams took a year between games?

"The fight I most wanted to see, Stevenson-Kovalev, was supposed to happen in 2014 but probably never will."

No it probably won't. Stevenson and his handlers want no part of Kovalev.
