To lose out the way he did (he was pulled out of the fight by the British Boxing Board of Control who felt he could not safely make the weight in time) was really unusual, but I have learned in sport never to count your chickens. It's amazing, but a week after having to pull out of my IBF world light-heavyweight title clash with Glen Johnson with a back problem, I'm feeling fine again and have already started training.
I'm only ticking over mind you, keeping fit and not doing any sparring or anything, but at least the signs are good.
That's the trouble with back spasms. You can have them one day and a week later everything feels fine. And then they can come back again.
It's so frustrating and it was just bad luck the last spasm came at exactly the wrong time.
People ask me if Im still gutted after losing the immediate chance to become a two-weight world champion, but there's no point worrying about it or dwelling on it. You have to put it behind you.
I'm still hopeful the Johnson fight will go ahead. I'm still contracted to fight him and promoter allegedly has put it in the hands of lawyers. And he's not signed to fight anybody else yet.
But I haven't spoken to Frank. I'll probably do so in the next few weeks. But my ambition is as great as ever. It's amazing that after my experience my stablemate, Gavin Rees, was forced to pull out of his proposed world super-featherweight title fight against Mike Anchondo in America.
I haven't had the chance to speak to him, but he'll probably be more disappointed than me because it would have been his first chance of a title.
