Hi all,

A quick heads up to let everyone know that the October 17 vacant Commonwealth flyweight title fight between Waleed Din and Thomas Essomba will be shown live on freeview channel Spike TV.

It should be a great watch between two cracking little prospects. We'll also be running a competition to win ringside tickets in the near future, will post more details soon.

X2. It's a strange one! I can't even switch my TV off Virgin to the free view as the connection for the council telly ariel is on the other side of the room!

Is there any news on whether Ross Burkinshaw will be appearing at ringside? If so, do we want to take bets on how Lauren will accidentally insult him?

My guess is she'll accidentally insinuate she has slept with his dad.

Because I've seen that guy they get to present it. Having nobody would be an improvement.

Congrats to Essomba who wins the title after putting Din down 3 times in the 11th and forcing the towel to come in. Din was down in the 4th and twice more (although the latter 2 were ruled slips). Phil Jeffries has raved about Essomba for a while now.
