Broner wins by 12th round last night, looked pretty good in doing so, then Broner calls out Ashley Theophane!
Be great to see Ashley get that shot at Broner, big ask for him though.

He made a remark about this tribulation that he has with Mr.Theopane, I evaluated it as Floyd having asserted that Theopane would beat Broner.
Is this true?

I hope Ashley gets the bout, some big money and that he beats Broner - I think Theopane is someone to admire and he's certainly a trier. Best of luck to him.

Great opportunity for Theophane if this comes off. Never saw Broner last night but he can be lazy and a bit of an enigma at times. Theophane would obviously be a massive underdog but he's a tough lad and quite hard to beat himself!

The top of the 140 division is looking pretty tasty again. Some good fights to be made in there providing everyone stays put for the foreseeable future.

Certainly is. Matthysse may not be involved after last night though. Postol was a bit of a dark horse before this but he boxed really well. Was impressive.

Theopane has said for a while that he is getting the Broner fight if Broner wins.
I think Theopane has a good chance of winning ugly, just needs to press the action.

Just watched the fight and thought Allakhverdiev was quite unlucky not to hear final bell,he was well beaten and if it was a 15 rounder then maybe calling a halt would be wise but with 40 seconds left in a world title fight then he couldve been giving the benefit of the doubt,Broner was en route to winning widely on the cards but i still wasnt that impressed with him if im honest, kudos for winning a world title in a 4th weight division and he deserved the win but he's still a bit lazy and 1 paced,he did get through with some lovely right hands and uppercuts though
