On the grape vine i'm hearing that good matches are attempting to be made between Hobson/Haye/Thompson these top 3 domestics promoters have had negotiations to make the above matches happen with all parties happy. The outcome seems to be a likely match between Haye/Thompson which is a great domestic match although....before u get excited i'm picking Haye to do him early 1/2 rounds but still its good that these promoters are trtying to make these fights happen (note no SN representation for Crapranelli) and i'm sure that these fights will be happening in the future.

In one way Haye V Thompson would of course be an appealing fight, however there is part of me that doesn't want to see Thompson in with a young puncher like Haye. Thompson has had a long hard career and I would hate to see him get hurt.
Carl Thompson has always come across a nice bloke on TV interviews I really felt for him when he was jeered by the cround in the Eubank rematch.

I don't want to see Thompson fight again either but I think it's inevitable. Thompson against Haye on the BBC would be good because no doubt a lot of viewers will remember Carl from his dramatic win against Rothmann. If the fight with Haye does happen I hope Thompson goes out taking as little damage as possible. This would then set up the Haye/Hobson superfight, which I'm sure would be a cracker.
I think Enzo will keep fighting the type of guys he's fighting tonight and maybe a Nelson fight will happen, but I can't see why Frank would risk a defeat (a very real possibilty) against Haye/Hobson when he can make a tidy gate fighting Alexei Sparkedalotov types and pleasing his home support.

The Haye fight is a good option for Carl. Good money, and if he loses, he loses early and to a clean shot, rather than a long sapping struggle.
There is also the chance, admittedly fairly slim, of him landing big and pulling off a cracking victory.
