Robbie Fletcher, the younger brother of former middleweight Jarrod Fletcher, and an accomplished amateur in his own right, turns pro on October 31st.
Robbie will make his debut against Toowoomba's Brent Moore (1-0) in a four-round middleweight bout. Robbie Fletcher is a four-time Australian amateur champion and he has won several state and golden glove titles.
"Robbie Fletcher was touted as a future star in the amateur ranks," says promoter Brendon Smith said. "Many people believed he was as good as his brother Jarrod, and we've all see what Jarrod was able to do as a pro. "It's exciting for Toowoomba to have a famous name in Australian boxing like Fletcher feature on this card."
Robbie is trained by his father Dave at Hervey Bay and managed by Steve Deller.
