Easy to say Lacy was his best performance, but even though he was betting underdog was it Joe's best win?

The Lacy fight was a great boxing lesson but it can be argued Lacy wasn't as good as he was hyped up to be, he certainly done little afterwards.

For me the Eubank win as JC hadn't really beaten anyone of note before and he had Eubank down and showed real grit to win.

Kessler for me. Kessler was undefeated and at 28 was at his peak. Calzaghe pulled away after the 6th or 7th and until that point it was close. Lovely boxing down the stretch and even Kessler took his hat off to him at the final bell. The Hopkins fight was horrible to watch.

Best performance was lacy, best win would be Hopkins for me, Hopkins used every trick in the book to try and scrape a win but calzaghe still managed to out land the master.

Kessler - He was in his pomp & Joe had to adjust his tactics mid fight to pull out the win.

It takes a tremendous fighter to alter his tactics mid fight to turn round a fight he might have gone on to lose.

Maybe. But it could be argued Joe ruined Lacy. And his performance hopefully ruined Lacy's girlfriend's vocal chords. That screeching harpie almost ruined the fight for me. I wonder if they're still together or that she has moved on to someone more successful.....

Did you know Kessler was injured? Think someone else might of mentioned it once or twice before but cant think who.

The lacy fight was the best display, Calzaghe was unbelievable that night! It's a toss up between Kessler and Hopkins? Calzaghe proved he could adapt in tough fights but Hopkins is a slightly higher level than Kessler so if I had to choose it would be the Hopkins fight.

The display against Lacy was totally one sided and a possible reason Lacy did nothing afterwards,for me, JCs best win is Kessler,he was a known quantity and proved himself many times after the Calzaghe loss.

I don't so much think it's Americans; I just think Bonsanted was nuts. And incredibly creepy. He seemed in love with his daughter in an uncomfortable obsessive nonce way....

Kessler for me he was in his prime and a proven champion. Eubank was past it and away from serious action for 2 years. Lacey was a good petformance but way over hyped. Hopkins fight was a stinker...good name but not a great performance

Considering that Hopkins was way from done and would be collecting good belts and decent scalps many years later puts that win into context.

Chris Eubank? Fight put together 2 weeks beforehand, Joe goes in with a former title holder who most thought would be too tough for Joe.

I actually think the Hopkins fight was one of his greatest performances , i mean when was the last time we eva see Hopkins the "ex con hard man from the streets" "i won't be beat by a white person " reduced to holding on for dear life to feigning low blows to crawling around on all fours begging the ref for points to be taken a way

It would have to be Eubank for me. That's the one that made me a "believer" in Calzaghe, although the Kessler performance was top notch as well.
