Wlad's partner, Hayden, has checked herself into a treatment facility to seek help for her post-natal depression. Rightly or wrongly conclusions will be drawn that ongoing domestic issues may be linked to the earlier postponement of the Fury fight. I would not be at all surprised if the fight is pulled again. If it isn't, expect Wlad to be under-prepared.

Bloody hell. Wlad, Fury, the fans, Hayden, baby Wlad - everyone is a loser here.

Wlad trained for, and fought, David Haye while his father was dying from terminal cancer. He passed away under two weeks after the fight. It will happen on the new date.

Jesus christ, I just googled who Hayden is. She looks like a small child next to Wladamir, he must ruin her.

Hopefully, but being a father does have a tendency to change your perspective. You can use work to divert attention from the impending death of a parent or to actually focus the mind. The emotional welfare of a spouse and child can be a very different matter. Wlad is a fairly hands on dad.

She was on the Graham Norton show a couple of years ago and they showed a picture of her and Vlad on the beach together - there was a strange eerie silence as everybody in the audience thought the same thing at the same time ! .....

Anyway, best of health to them all. I hope that she is feeling much better soon.

Rocky Balboa used his wife being in hospital as inspiration to chase chickens, hurdle park benches and train like a champion to then beat Apollo. Maybe Wlad is using his gameplan
