Gonzalez 250K $ , Viloria 100K $ . Information Via Dan Rafael.
So 3.5$ Purse for a PPV event surpised me (57/43 Split) , its a little lower from what I expected (4,5M - 5M) Because Canelo-Kirkland Purse was 4.7M$ and it wasnt even a PPV. The good thing is Lemieux is getting paid, and that should encourage every other middleweight out there (Preferably Andy Lee, Cotto/Canelo)
They will also get a share from the PPV money but I predict it would only be about +200-300K$ Each.
A 3.5 Million Purse should also considered GOOD, Because Canelo in his first A-Side PPV Earned 1.25M And Angulo 850K. In his Second PPV with Lara the overall Purse was 2.5M. So thats good numbers.
Lets hope for a great fight tommorow.

Why so low? If they sell 100K it makes 5M. Fighters only get 10%?

Purses way out of line in my view. IMO Golovkin should be making AT LEAST double what Lemieux gets, maybe even more than double.
Golovkin sacrificed most of his purse to get Lemieux into the ring with him, it could have easily been a 65/35 Split situation but it seems they were asking too much. Good thing is if Golovkin wins this fight and the PPV sells as expected, He will be getting more money in his next fight whoever he fights.

Let me explain, I am not entirely sure but 50% of the PPV money (IN this situation) goes to HBO, the other 50% splits between the fighters/Promoters/Coaches/TV deals. That leaves a small amount for the fighters to receive, I might be wrong though.

Lemieux brings a large Canadian audience to the table.

Yes but when you indicated purse amounts you did not deduct those salaries. So it makes sense to do the same with PPV money to get a total figure. After that, if we like, we can calculate how much each fighter actually takes home.
