Just a simple accountablilty conversation, and annoucement of intent.

Recently I and my Pontiac were stricken from behind by a vehicle driven by a texter........ Putting me effectively out of the loop for hours...leading to a day or so being incommunicado.
As a result GBP lost out on it's first round draft choice.
Then an official used language that I imagined to be the closing the first round of drafting. I was unsure if this perhaps excluded me from choosing a fighter within that division.
I inquired.....and received no answer. No reply Nada.
In my opinion It's quite important that we attempt to have pragmatic communication with participants (perhaps regardless of how much esteem we may hold for that member.)
I then inquired would it be possible for me to be allowed to have a higher second round option as a result of my experience.....once again a simple inquiry. I would think worthy of a reply. Yes, no, maybe....just a response.
Once again silence.
The ultimate answer to my inquiry's became a defacto "No". One that I have fully accepted. I don't take it all personal. We relish the opportunity to engage in a more challenging scenario. And it will inevitably lead to us reaching even further stratospheric heights than we have experienced in the past.
The only real question is.....is this a good way to operate? Or was this a special operational protocol specifically designed to exploit the "one per center's" such as myself.
You know, those people who are so successful and fortunate that they simply have too much. folks like GBP, and their conglomerate of associates. aka "Minions".
For the record: It is my belief that it was simply a series of inadvertent unfortunate events, that led to this outcome. Events that will undoubtedly lead to further enhancing the great name of Golden Buzz Promotions within the anals of Simulated History. We will of course not attempt to exploit this turn of events. But rather embrace this set of unique circumstances that no one before has ever faced.
As always we will humbly participate, and continue to carve our unique iconic brand of success into the consciousness of a public that adores us with such fervor.
We shall endure, overcome, thrive and triumph through adversity whether happenstance in nature, or contrived to "control" the limits of ones success.
