Roman and Golovkin get a PPV slot and serve up those snoozefests?
I guess you can blame the mismatch making for those 2 duff fights.... but c'mon. Slow paced, boring. How about a face paced finish? What happened to the all-mexican style? The Tyson-esque 3 minute onslaughts?
That card wasn't worth the money. 2 overmatched main events that looked more like journey being fed to prospects on an undercard.

Nice card. Worth the money. I believe G answered a lot of questions with his boxing skill tonight.

If you're mismatched at least give the fans 3 exciting savage minutes.
Betwern ggg and roman we got 16 one sided slow paced, extremely predictable rounds.
Yawn.

That's how real masters make their opponents look. Not grabbing questionable decisions like Mayweather or Canelo.

Where's the enjoyment in overmatched, 1-sided, predictable spar sessions?
It was hardly 8 rounds of Gatti-Ward. Those 2 fights sucked and both Roman and GGG carried their opponents.

Boxing isn't all about two guys swinging trying to take each others heads off. If that's what floats your boat maybe boxing isn't really your thing. I like to watch quality not just action.

The Ref was a joke GGG hits opponent when he was down and the Punch was a good one too and he doesn't even get a warning and then he clearly hits after the bell.......well lets just pretend we didn't see it

the IBF champion only had to roll over and he would have been winner by foul
but credit to him for taking the hard road and getting up the ref looked like he had money on GGG to win the fight in that round beside the refs performance GGG looked better than ever.......

1) You are a hater. 2) If you want GGG to be tested more than he was tonight than the other MW's have to grow a pair and step up rather than running from this guy. And that would include Cotto, Quillen, Jacobs, Lee, Alverez. Nobody wants this guy. PERIOD>

exactly, also lemeaixu made it a good fight. he did pose some problems to ggg, he was out there swining at times. respect to lemieaux.

Quality only exists in well matched fights.

lee signed a contract to fight GGG before he won the WBO and GGG pulled out.
lee has said since winning the WBO that he would fight GGG, and i could maybe
see lee fighting GGG before GGG's mandatory with the cotto-canelo winner in may.
i'm pretty sure alvarez would honor the mandatory in may if he beat canelo, also.
cotto has emphatically said he will not fight GGG and quillin vacated his title to
avoid korobov so you're probably right about those two.

Lee would only last 6 rounds tops. But if he does fight GGG I will give him props. We will see with Alvarez and Cotto will never fight GGG. He knows he will get a beat down back to the island of Enchantment.

Sorry but whoever purchased this ppv is a fool.
Monroe was in the fight more than lemiuex ever was. This was easier for gg than his last 5 fights which were all regulary tv.
Chocolatito was a treat to watch but thats about it.

nobody, at least on boxrec, thought lee would beat korobov.
almost everybody on here thought he would lose to quillin.
i sure did, and at the end of that fight i thought lee had nicked the decision.
i'm not sure he gets by saunders, but even if he does, he would get maybe $1.5m
to fight GGG, several times what he could get for defending against anyone else
in the division. who knows how long he can hold onto that title even against typical
WBO type contenders? losing his title to GGG for $1.5m might be preferable to
4 or 5 fights against lower level guys to make that much, with the chance of losing
his title each time. if he loses the title, his value drops considerably, going back to
pretty much what he was worth before winning the title, in the tens of thousands.
i'm pretty sure when he was signed to fight GGG for april of last year before GGG's
father died and he pulled out, lee would have gotten 1/10th of what he would get now.
if he loses to GGG, it's not like that hurts his marketability, either. he could maybe
even campaign back down at 154 after that and try for the WBC floyd vacates, or charlo's
IBF, or liam smith's WBO (andrade stripped). if he loses to GGG for a lot of $$, that might
still be his best business decision.

GGG vs Lemieux was not very entertaining.
Better than a Mayweather fight, though.
