What's a tougher fight for Ward?

Golovkin at 168, or Kovalev at 175?
I say Kovalev given Golovkin is unproven at 168, although I think Golovkin is less vulnerable at 160 than Kovalev is at 175.

I was gonna ask this myself ,I think ward beats golovkin I think he gets inside golovkin and stops golovkin jab I think kovalev is the harder fight because of his size . neither GGG or kovalev are fast and I think that could be their undoing with ward

Kovalev is a tougher fight for Ward, but both will beat him.

Not even close. Ward has a better chance of controlling the distance with Kovalev than he does with GGG. GGG's jab is a game changer. We saw just how dangerous of a weapon it was this weekend. When you have to take 5 or 6 of those jabs to the face to get remotely close to position to score a punch, that will wear anyone down to a nub. GGG's focus on the jab now makes him flat out unbeatable.

Ward could box a large part of the fight southpaw which would.go some way to offsetting the jab

Ward has a leaping jab from distance I don't see GGG controlling the fight with his jab at all

Ward wouldn't be the first fast athletic guy whose fast closing of the distance was nullified by a good timer/jabber though Steve.
Myself I'm not so sure he's 'that' guy, I think his movement and ring generalship are way in excess of (say) Mosley or Jermaine Taylor(who Forrest and pavlik controlled with the jab), but still GGG's jab would mean along with krusher he's the only guy I give even a chance of beating Ward up to 175lbs (who isn't named beyerbiev or probably some other krytonite-built deadeyed stonefaced terrifying fvcing Russian killer they are probably just finished cloning out there right now, but I digress-

GGG seems easier to hit for me and Ward has some really good defensive skills (or did have before his long lay off). So I'm going for Kov being the tougher fight. He's also naturally much larger so if he lands its more likely to tell

Is this a serious question? A 175 lb killer compared to a 160 lb killer? Hmm gee I don't know lemme think about this one...

Good plan until he gets hit by the straight right or right hook. He will then have 10 seconds to figure out what plan B is

If I was to rank the 3 guys p4p (providing Ward is still the same fighter that won super 6)
1. Ward
2. Golovkin
3. Kovalev
But in the real world where p4p doesn't matter and size plays a real role in how a fight would pan out Kovalev is the far more dangerous prospect.
Plus GGG is stepping up to Wards division, Ward would be stepping up to Kovalevs
I'd give Kovalev a narrow advantage over Ward at 175
I'd give Ward a narrow advantage at 168
Both would be hard fights however and neither a foregone conclusion

If we discount Floyd this is undoubtedly the top 3 right now if you're like me and cant put a little guy like Gonzalez in your top 3. I'd round out the top 5 with Chocolatito and Wlad.

I can get him in there. So these are probably my top 5 just now but i'm really struggling to find a difinitive number one or put them in order and keep them there without changibg it from day to day.
For instance I've had to put the disclaimer in above that Ward is still the same fighter, because it wouldn't be entirely surprising if he'd slipped and theres no way of telling that he's still as good.
Oh for the days when Floyd was number one and there was no realistic debate or dispute about that
