Hindsight is 20/20 of course and there aren't many happy endings in boxing but when do you think your favourite fighters should have called it a day? I think after Lewis 2 would have been a great time for Holyfield to have called it a day, redeeming himself after a poor performance to run Lewis very close and performing much better than anyone in their late 30s with so many miles on the clock had a right to.

Would of been good for Hatton to have walked away after Malignaggi , I know the Manny fight had too much money in it but in hindsight he would of retired having only lost at Welterweight to Floyd and having retired after winning a fight between who everyone regarded as number 1 and 2 at 10 stone at the time

Bit different but I think Naz called it a day at the wrong time would of loved to see him continue!

Just think how differently Roy Jones' career would be viewed if he'd retired straight after the Ruiz fight.

I've often thought this, he was being talked about as the best ever by some at the time.

I'm the opposite, I think it's better to go on and know for sure that you could no longer have done it. Someone says Hatton after Mallinagi? He would have spent the rest of his life wondering if he could have beaten Pacquio, at least he knows exactly how good he was and what his limit was.
