Took the fight against fellow debutante over 4x3, weighed-in the night before passed per-fight medical on the night, but as it became close to fight time, he appeared less enthusiastic & walked out of the venue.
This occurred at Southport RSL (Gold Coast) last Saturday. Promoter Jamie Myer was not amused.

Both weighed-in at super middle

Weird haven't heard of that happening before. He must of had an epiphany. Is he from Perth?

I've seen that happen in the amateurs before. One in particular where a guy weighed in in the morning. Took off for a rest at home because he was scheduled to fight late in the day, and never came back.

I doubt he's Perth based. Most likely Gold Coast/Brisbane. Won't mention his name, but will keep tabs on him in the event he's scheduled again

Bit unfair at this point in time. I know Jamie had all sorts of problems with the card & the fight was arranged at short notice. At the time I guess $$$ did the thinking but got better of him on the night. He may have contested corporate bouts, which Jamie has promoted in the past.

Couldn't imagine him getting too many more offers if he does that again.
