sky commentary lack of knowledge

During and after the fight between wood and wale the commentary said the winner gets a shot at ryan walsh. Incorrect yes it was a eliminator but it was not a final eliminator which gains u the mandatory position. The board hav made a final eliminator between tennsyon and traynor. U wud think the wud have done the research b4 the fight.

Do you think they didn't know or do you think there deliberately glossed over that fact?

The fact they never mentioned any other fighters make me think they weren't aware. U wud Only know if you have been told or looked on the board website. No excuse tho

It is a bit worrying, particularly when compared to sky's football commentators who seem to know the back story of every single player on the pitch.

The Eubank fight the announcer kept saying world champion even though he was interim & was getting it taken from him the next day. Lack of knowledge or trying to fool the public?

Research? Sky! Nah if its not happened/happening on a Sky show they don't think it exists!
