I was trying to find some YouTube clips of Funso Banjo, particularly his last fight, the disqualification loss to Greg Page, but I can't find anything other than a Thames TV clip of him in the gym.
However, whilst doing a Google search, I discovered that he's the father of Diversity front man, Ashley Banjo.

I just thought I'd share that, because I didn't know...!

I think that Funso's missus/ Ashley's mum was a ballet dancer.

With those genes you can see where he got his athleticism and skills.

I didn't know that. Should have worked it out as there aren't too many Banjos around.
Can anyone remember a nightclub/bar in the Nottingham area called Funso Banjo's? In the early-mid 80's I think.
