Golovkin

Sorry, I did read the post.
But GGG is his mandatory

If he doesn't fight him, it is unacceptable

I agree, and at the full 160 pounds too. None of this 155 pounds crap.

Andrade would be great, but Charlos are good fights too. I would be also fine with re-matching his two close wins, with Lara and Trout, but no way he goes there. Forget any other middleweight fights because they would be catchweights. What the poll should include are 140 and 147 lbers that would be forced to move up to fight Mr. "I don't do weight disadvantages" Canelo.

People are ok with him and Cotto doing it, but after its done their reps will suffer greatly, and both will be looked at as cowards by many for being afraid to fight GGG.

Everyone on the poll is extraordinarily great. If we're talking about acceptable opponents for Alvarez, Michel Soro or Dominic Wade would be acceptable. It wouldn't be acceptable if Alvarez fought one of the fighters in the poll after Cotto, it would be AMAZING. We're talking about a 25-year-old who in consecutive fashion fought Austin Trout, Floyd Mayweather, Alfredo Angulo, Erislandy Lara, James Kirkland, Miguel Cotto, and then hypothetically someone like the #3 middleweight or #3 light middleweight in the world. If he does all of that, not only would it be acceptable, but you should bow down and kiss his feet.

Wade?

Wade needed 3 American judges and an American referee to get the decision against 41 year old Sam Soliman.

All of these except Lee/Saunders winner are good options AFTER Canelo loses to GGG. Lee/Saunders winner is taken by Golovkin.

so we are going to assume that after agreeing to defend against GGG in order
to get the cotto fight, canelo will chicken out and vacate the title and fight
one of these people instead, and which would would be acceptable in that
scenario? i think if lee gets by saunders there is just as much of a chance
of GGG fighting lee in late feb, giving him plenty of time for saturday may 7
canelo fight. if canelo vacates, then it really doesn't matter what canelo
does at middle, because GGG would have all the titles and canelo would
just be contending for the biggest vacater-GGG avoider trophy. he might as
well go back down to 154 and fight cotto again for the wbc 154 floyd vacates.
