IMO I have been in the ring with Wach when I weighed 260 and I landed shots that I wouldn't have landed against a good fighter I literally came off the couch and went to fight I couldn't shadow box for 2 rounds I think Povetkin wins pretty easy but I have been wrong before

Easy win for Povetkin.

Lebedev-Kayode might be more competitive. And that won't be competitive either.

Wach size and toughness can cause problems for Povetkin. But in the light of the recent form you have to favor the Russian.

My theory

This is a pointless fight for poverkin as he is already mandatory. It's a risk.

But wach will get peanuts which is why I think

Wach , supposedly durable , will take a dive for a side pay. 90% of his purse will go to his management team anyway

So he will make a bung on the side with the purpose of povetkins team trying to intimidate wilder and his team .
To possible drop the belt even

Povetkin for UD, but i don't exclude the KO. Povetkin is a good boxer that has improved after Klitschko bout. Wach has a granitic chin but after the Klitschko match he could lost something psycological.

Everytime i've seen Wach he's ate shots. None more so than the Wlad fight where he took sickening shots byt he seems to have a chin of granite. That leads me to pretty much rule out the KO for the much smaller Povetkin.

Povetkin has got better. I used to rate him pretty low, especially after his clear loss to Huck.

Wach may get outboxed but his size and chin will give Povetkin problems imo.... he could pull out a W.

Povetkin by KO

His body shape has changed over the last couple of years And he looks a more devastating puncher because of it.

I agree that Povetikin has improved a lot. A rematch with Wlad would be interesting - and as big a fan as I am of the amazing K brothers I have to agree with the haters on that one - Wlad was like an octopus all over Povetkin.

Wach took a lot of punches from Wlad, but I guess that being doped up helped some with that, no?

Anyway, this is a good matchup. I pick Povetkin by KO.

still waiting to see what odds are going to come on the market for Wach by KO/TKO/DQ.

BTW for those interested in politics we have a Russian vs a Ukranian billed as "Fight for Freedom", seems all very Rocky 4.

actually its Russian vs Polish, and the fight is billed like that by Wach team because after this fight he will liberate from his promoter who takes 90% of Wach's money.
this fight is scheduled 4 november, national day in Russia and anniversary of end of Polish occupation on Moscow's Kremlin in 1612.

I think the fight is going to be close.

Wach can be awkward to fight simply by being so big and seemingly having a concrete jaw, but he's snail slow.

Basically no reason to expect this to be the case.

All this talk about what a great card this is. A bit extreme. Wach stinks and will lose clearly. Kayode only beats cab drivers. He fought a "clean" Tarver who looked awful and was so embarrassed by drawing with Kayode he got on the sauce immediately.

A couple of the other fights on the card are decent, I guess. Solid card. Not great.

The bookies have Povetkin something like a 10 to 1 favorite.

I'm surprised that Kudryashov is only 14 to 1 favorite. I'd have thaought it would be more like 50 or 100 to 1.

Povetkin is 1-15 in most places.

Kudrayashov isnt a bigger favorite because Duradola has one punch power.

That said Kudrayashov likely ices him early.

Yes, don't blink in the Kudryashov fight or you might miss it!

Where did you see 1-15 odds? Actually I'm seeing 1-8 1/2. Here: http://www.oddschecker.com/boxing

5Dimes -1400

TheGreek has him -1700

He opened at -800 at these books and got hammered. I dont think some of these other books take alot of boxing wagers so their lines dont move too much off the original.

I think Povotkin will win a decision, but not KO like some think. The height will trouble him some, and remember Wlad knocked him down a few times.

And there's the power of Durodola. More than anything this is more about Kudrayshov just being overrated like most fighters who's bodies go into spasm when someone else with a pulse actually punches them.

Why because you thought he should've been -10000?

Is it ever really shocking when totally unproven guys lose to former Olympians?

If Lebedev or a proven cruiser had lost to this guy - that's a true shock. Kudra had never faced anyone yet who could remotely punch back. Hell even David Price looked like a menace against trash men.
