Any comments/criticisms of the British Top 30 P4P list are very welcome.

J McDonnell too high, Flanagan far too low still, Smith should be higher. Saunders above Bellew. G McDonnell, Farrag and Eggington are all way too high and should drop out, along with Warrington, to be replaced by any of the six fighters who went out this month or Frankie Gavin, who should probably be in the top 30 already. Butler beat Hall, yet he's somehow below him too.

Too low, possibly. He is in no way far too low though.

Flanagan got a good win last month, but it was nothing special.

Saunders has struggled with Eubank and Ryder in recent fights and has done nothing worthwhile since his narrow win over Eubank almost a year ago.

Bellew hasn't done a great deal recently either, but Cleverly's recent good performance against Fonfara makes that win look more impressive and he's beaten a higher class of journeymen than Saunders has since then.

Gavin dropped out because he hasn't done anything decent in a while. Gavin doesn't deserve a place in the rankings at the moment.

G. McDonnell & Farrag are both European champions who both got good wins last month.

The 6 fighters who dropped out are all good fighters and most will probably re-enter the rankings at some point, but the bottom of the rankings are very competitive at the moment. I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt to the guy who got the most recent good win over the guy who got a good win a few months ago.

He won very narrowly against Hall and then got destroyed soon afterwards. Beating someone doesn't mean that you get to stay ahead of them in the rankings forever.

I think Joshua would knock him out within 3 rounds, but I'm guessing you see it differently?

I don't think Gavin McDonnell deserves such a big boost for beating Jermey Parodi, who has a very padded record and is near the edge of BoxRec's top 150. To me it seems like you're putting too much weight on McD holding a belt.

If you are putting emphasis on recent form then why is Stephen Smith being dropped out?
His last win was better than anything Chisora, Eubank Jr, Butler or Hall have done in the last six months or more.

I wouldn't be that surprised if Joshua could knock him out in three rounds, but Joshua hasn't destroyed anyone remotely as good as Chisora yet (even a washed up Chisora).

If Chisora can take Joshua's power for a couple of rounds then maybe he can wear him out and stop him.

I think the talk about Chisora being a waste of time opponent for Joshua is mental. It seems that most people learnt nothing from Price's losses.

McDonnell's ranking isn't just based on beating Parodi. His wins against Yegorov, Malinga and the rest of his record also helped him enter.

McDonnell moved up more than he normally would, because I wanted to move down a few fighters who hadn't done anything for a while (Hall, Butler, Chisora), or who I thought hadn't earned such a high ranking (Walsh, Eubank Jr).

6 months isn't really a long time in boxing.

Boschiero was a nice win for Smith, but he looked washed up. Beating someone like him every year or so isn't enough to keep a place in the P4P top 30 for long.

The competition for a place in the rankings is fierce and I think Stephen leaving this month is fair.

Yegorov has beaten no one and hadn't fought since 2013; Malinga is clearly past it, has one win in three years, and widely lost to Hall shortly before; and Parodi has a very padded record without notable wins and is now 138th on BoxRec as a result. Moreover, four fights and about one year ago McD drew with domestic level Josh Wale.

In my opinion he should be beneath everyone you dropped off the list, with the possible exception of Paul Smith.

Yegorov has a rubbish record, but he looked like he had decent ability against McDonnell. I'd like to see him step up again.

The Wale draw was 17 months ago and he'd beaten him before that.

McDonnell doesn't have the greatest record ever, but it's good enough for a bottom 10 place and he moved higher than normal to help de-stagnate the bottom half of the list.

Do you think Farrag or Eggington deserve to be higher or lower than him? What about Walsh and Chisora?

Good list again. Groves too high for me though.

McKenzie out of the list up to 18 based solely on one draw? He did well, very well in fact, but...!

Don't agree with some of the drop outs but as always, you'll have your reasons. Good list though and enjoy looking through the names as it's a reminder of how deep British boxing is at the moment. We may not have a Calzaghe/Haye/Froch/Hatton at the moment but we have plenty of talent.

Ola Afolabi at 14 really? Is this based on a draw with Huck over 3 years ago?

Khan is too high maybe??

Algieri and a washed up Aleksander.

one reasonable win from Degale and I would have him top of the pile

khan/brook/quigg/Frampton all avoiding challenges

I think I give them too much of the benefit of the doubt, especially when they lose a close fight.

Liam Smith seems way too high to me. He beat a nobody for that WBO title of his.

I haven't done a world list for a few months, but I'll get working on it.

It was a draw against a top 10 ranked opponent for a world title though.

McKenzie probably could have re-entered the list at around 25 or so from beating some English title level fighter, so entering him in the top 20 from almost winning a world title didn't seem ridiculously generous.
