On this day, Carl Frampton and Scott Quigg has signed to fight each other for their respective belts.
And just for a bit of fun, and for future reference - who do you think will win the fight next February?
This poll will be run for the next 24 hours
You will not be allowed to re-vote.

I'm going for Frampton via pts decision. I'm trusting that the judges score it fairly and that Carl wins more rounds and outpoints him.

Brilliant news. Definitely be trying my best to get tickets for this one. Frampton is my favourite fighter so obviously I am going for a Frampton victory. Late KO and I wouldn't be surprised if they both hit the floor. Looking forward to a cracking fight.

I expect to change my mind several times before fight night. Massive fan of both, but I have gone for Frampton points........I don't see either of them winning by stoppage

Wow the pole is dead even so far, a year ago it would've be 95-5 for Frampton, just shows how much a couple of fights can change opinions. I've gone for Quigg too, either way it should be a cracker!!!!

I'm not sure about that one mate, Quigg has always had his supports and true-believers. I just think that his stock has rose exponentially since his destruction of Kiko. Let's be honest about it, none of us seen that one coming. But fair play, it's earned him a massive money fight against Frampton.

Frampton by wide decision or late stoppage.

Really can't decide, quigg stands a bit too square on and Frampton can stand a bit too tall with his chin out but both can dig a bit and both been on the floor so all in all the right ingredients for a potential British classic and am sure it doesn't spell the end for the loser.

Superb news that it's finally been signed, a PPV I will actually pay for.
Frampton definitely would have been a big favourite a year ago, but he looked like shite in his last fight whilst Quigg made a huge statement.
I'm leaning towards Quigg, but no outcome would surprise me.

I remember being surprised when boxing people would say Frampton would wipe the floor with Quigg. I always felt Quigg was being underestimated.
Having said that, I don't remember the last time there was a fight in which I couldn't pick a winner. So I'm going to have to go for a draw.

So will it be a 50/50 split for the purse then?

I've always fancied Scott Quigg and back him to win. He just seems to be way more hungry for the fight itself, whereas Team Frampton seems to lord it a bit and that could really be their Achilles heal.
Frampton looks a bit flat lately and I can visualise him having a good start and then him getting busted up and the doctor stopping it.
Overall it's a fight I can really enjoy as I like both guys - and I can definitely see cases being made by others for a Frampton win.
Definitely a shot in the arm for British boxing too.

Easy fight for Quigg. Frampton is grossly overrated by many and I think he'll be stopped between seven and 10 if not sooner.

Who's planning on going to this one? I might take the missus as a Valentine's day present, the lucky girl

don't think it will be easy by any means , but the bodyshots will tell in Quigg's favour and will stop him late

It's a great fight very close to a 50/50 match up but from what I've seen is favour frampton by late stoppage or possibly points. I wouldn't be surprised if it went the other way though.

Frampton has always been one of my fav fighters and Quigg too but ive always said Scott is underated,he takes a lot of stick because he's with Eddie and he holds a paper title,he doesnt talk as well as Carl and doesnt have as big a fanbase
But all they things have nowt to do with whether he can beat Frampton, ive always felt this was a lot closer than most people thought, even before Quigg destroyed Martinez and Frampton laboured against Gonzalez Jr,ive thought there is nothing to split this pair
I actually am starting to favour Quigg going in now, especially in Manchester, the blowout of Kiko will have done wonders for his confidence so will Carl's performance last time out
I might change my mind again come fight night but right now,im gonna say Quigg by close decision or maybe even a late KO,both gys have been down before but not really hurt, but they both have serious power to stop one another

I must admit I have changed my mind from a year ago going from Frampton to Quigg, the main reason is that I think Quigg will be too big and strong for him and I don't think Carl will be able to keep him off him all night, I think Carl is the more natural boxer and I agree with G0mez that he will have a good start but Scott will catch up with him and stop him late.

I hope Frampton wins, but in all honestly, i'm just glad that the fight is being made, heading over to Manchester, just hope I can get a ticket.

Not sure, but i suspect they'll be on general sale for around 45 seconds before selling out, then reappearing on StubHub a minute later at 10 times the face value.

Went for Frampton on points but I've got very little confidence in my pick.
