Anyone here got any footage of Warren Stowe's fight in Cape Town when the shooting happened? Any upload would be appreciated.

I saw it on the news, I remember him jumping out of the ring pronto and diving underneath the ring. He was interviewed later saying he was proper scared there, I think one of his team was mugged earlier in the trip.

When was this ?

1995. I know 'Boxers of the Past' is the appropriate area of the website but I am not yet prepared to fully accept that my generation of fighters belong there.

I seem to remember this fight and im sure i have either a clip of it or the fight on vhs. Once 6th January comes ill be converting my tapes again so keep a look out, if I have it ill pm you around the time im converting it.

I'm pretty sure my old pro trainer Jim Moore was in his corner remember them getting ininterviewed about it on local news show.

I remember the footage where they both flew out of the ring and then under it, someone got killed there. Warren said at the time he was trying to keep the spirits up of his opponent whilst they were all under the ring.
